"The test concentrates on the three things we've learned over the past year. Clone recreation, shuriken and kunai throwing, and henge disguising. We shall first start with the writing exam then advance into the three main parts. I hope you've all been training and learning like I've sternly told you all to," Iruka-sensei explained to all the students in the classroom in a serious manner. It was clear the brunette wasn't playing around with how he positioned himself near the front of the classroom with his hands behind his back.
"This will be a piece of cake for me!" The Inuzuka child joked. Coming from a clan who act like part wolves, the kid really didn't bother to think about what he gets into most of the time, which resulted in him having to say after class writing on the board that he'll never do it again.
And the infamous Uchiha, who didn't feel like he need to listen to a word being spoken by the sensei, chose to keep his mouth closed. As he always did since why should he steer his attention to something that he could succeed in doing without looking like it took actual effort? But as always, no one knows what eh every thinks.
"Show some emotions Sasuke. Say something other than staying so silent all the time! It'll give you a better reputation," Naruto whispered in a light tone under his breath. But it sounding more like begging. Now, he didn't show it, but the blond hated being in silence for more than 10 minutes. It made him feel uneasy and unsettled, like the quietness was going to eat at him. Maybe because it was the only thing he'd be left to hear every time he ran from the villagers and hiding away for exactly 10 minutes. Having to greet them whenever the boy ran into them on the streets, was really not something Naruto wanted to do at all. But he had to choice but to, it's apart of his act after all.
"Tsk, no reason to. I won't," Sasuke muttered back without diverting his attention from Iruka-Sensei. The raven head always kept his sentences short, much to the blonde's displeasure since the silence only came back after he stopped. He'd never say anything else unless someone ask or talks to him. Right, Sasuke doesn't need to talk to anyone, everyone knows he's an independent person. But Naruto always thought he could break through the boy's metal barriers just like how he carved a shape into his own.
"Of course there is a reason! Maybe.. ah, maybe it'll help in the future when needed to speak out more. If you're put in a team like this, no one will want to be next to you," the boy said a little more loudly. Of course low enough so Iruka-Sensei wouldn't notice, but a little more louder so the point got across. To be completely honest, Naruto was nearly close to breaking his acting voice. It was mainly to come out annoyed and more forceful, but that would ruin everything! Or at least he thought so.
"I'd suggest shut that mouth, Naruto," the raven head uttered with clear annoyance laced within his tone. Now the blonde wasn't even going to hide it at all, he was fed up with this attitude. When Sasuke didn't hear a response for the next minute, he turned his head only slightly to the opposite side just to look at Naruto, said boy who he told to shut up and was actually thinking that's what the other did. But instead, he was greeted with an expression he had never in his days of knowing Naruto, has seen. The other's eyebrow were furrowed together as his mouth has a slightly noticeable scowl. Those eyes no longer held happiness or the kind look they used to. Now they were replaced by an angered and uncaring demeanor. Eyes that could look at someone who's on their last breath and not spare even a glance as they stride by.
"I don't understand why he wants to be your friend so much, such a damn fool you are. So what if you come from the Uchiha Clan? You think I give two flying birds? Don't be delusional, if that's even something you can be for a sorry loser."
Though his head wasn't turn all the way, the utterly shocked, conflicted expression that was worn upon Sasuke's face didn't go noticed by the so-called 'Naruto' who sat with his back against the chair unlike before and arms crossed over his chest. The way his iris shifted to a blood red color was what practically made the raven head think was the cause of the sudden personality change. The blonde's demeanor was different, way different. It nearly didn't even feel like him anymore.
