Naruraki paced back and forth repeatedly. His fingernails slid uneasily through his pointy canine teeth that looked to be biting down hard onto them. His red eyes flew across the rocky, brutally cold underground room before landing on the group of knocked out genins and all it did was make him actually bite through one of his nails. Creating a small pierced hole that, and thankfully, didn't actually hit his actual finger underneath. The blonde's eyebrows were tensely furrowed and didn't seem to be leaving the pose they were stuck in for more than an hour for another 10 minutes.
"What the hell are you doing you idiot?!" Naruraki silently muttered to himself. "What the hell made you think this was the best thing to do?! Sure I've managed to chain Master Zankokuna back down and slightly into his needed slumber, but what will I do about this? Naruto's gonna freakin kill me if he finds out I basically strapped down his friends in an attempt to keep them quiet!"
Silence.
"You aren't doing a good job at it either..."
The unexpected hoarse voice made Naruraki jump and whip around frantically in need of finding the source. His breathing was unexpectedly heavy and his pupils looked as if they got bigger than they're supposed to look. Fear? Was he feeling a swift sense of fear? That can't nearly be possible, right? The blonde knows he's meant to play the 'Big Bad Wolf,' not the 'Three Little Pigs'!
"A- Ahem, who is talking?" Naruraki asked with the most fearsome voice he could muster up. Not like it really worked when he looked at the unimpressed expression on Neji's face.
"Stop pretending already. Your bold voice isn't even close enough to put a frightening look on my face," The long haired Hyuga sighed as he made a small wiggle motion. But the ropes 'binding' his hands stopped him from moving far.
The blonde made an unusually petty pout that didn't go unnoticed by Neji, "I go through the trouble of getting you and all your friends down here since I knew I couldn't just leave y'all out in the night and this is your reaction? Not even a small tingle or drop of fright?"
"I don't show fear. But what happened earlier was completely unexpected, so I couldn't help but display a little uneasiness. Anyway, how long have we been down here?"
Turning around to face the stone cold wall that radiated freezing mist from it, Naruraki looked as if the answer to the asked question was nowhere to be found. Yet it was so simple and easy to answer. He was so busy walking around, fixing things up so nothing wrongs happens, making sure Zankokuna Kyōfu was secured and peacefully laying after Osore and Heiwa had a little sister-brother quarrel, the protection seal was perfectly in place so nothing could get through, and whatever else he did on autopilot to the point he really couldn't find an answer.
"Um... 30 minutes...?"
The blonde genin was so lost and distorted that he didn't even hear when the other boy he wasn't paying attention to got up from his seat he was 'supposed to be' tied to. His footsteps were silent and swift as if he was walking on the frosting air he couldn't feel on his skin. And it would look as if his sneaking went unnoticed by the still out-of-state mind blonde but that was far from the current case.
Noticing quite quickly that Naruraki was going to turn around, Neji gritted his teeth before rushing forward to enclose the other boy against the wall to make sure there was nowhere else he would run off to, but even with his quick-timing, it wasn't enough to stop Naruraki from turning around and summoning a random kunai that must've been laying around somewhere on the cold stone floor before pressing it right at the Hyuga boy's neck when both arms were on each side of his head.
