Closing the book, the silver headed Sensei was on the defense as he guarded himself with one of his many kunais. But even so, there was little point in trying to defend when the fog felt so long-lasting that it seemed unending. No sight of the enemy, no sight of Meizu, and no clear way of telling if this mission is still just a mission or a suicidal one. It's absolutely ridiculous and crazy. Did no one know? Did no one want to warn them? Why does it feel so endless? Is there really no end to how long this damn mission will take?

'Naruto... Where are you right now? I can't believe it's you of all people we have to depend on right now.'

It's true. There are 5 types of comas a person in the shinobi world can fall into...

1.) A normal coma
2.) Jutsu Act (like a genjutsu, the person wanders aimlessly until a certain person snaps them out of it)
3.) Immortal Slumber (if done right, it can stop the person from turning older and going ill. Forbidden since it was seen as an immortal use)
4.) Lucid Demise (it feels like a peaceful dream, but you are bound to die in this coma. No one has ever been saved since there is no way to tell if they have caught a Lucid)
5.) Chakra Astray

The Chakra Astray is where the holder uses up to the last drop of chakra that they have while performing a large jutsu. To wake up from it, the holder must recover their chakra to the max point. It can take either days, weeks, months, or even years, depending on how much chakra they must gain. If the person wakes themself up while recovering, they are guaranteed to lose their chakra pool. Very rare chance of gaining it back. So far, there hasn't been one person who regained their chakra pool when they fell into the Chakra coma. And Naruto wasn't going to risk it one bit. Though if someone else uses their chakra to replenish the chakra of the person in the Astray, then the one who was in the coma can wake up much more quickly without the loss of their chakra pool.
