The boy with the gummy smile brushed the hedge out of the way to reveal a...a body? The limp body fell out of the leaves, scratches and bruises covered its legs and arms. Ronnie clasped a hand over her mouth. The rest didn't say a word, just stood watching in shock. It appeared to be a man, in his thirties maybe early forties. His body didn't have any blood smeared on it, nor did he seem to have a fatal wound. The man's body was pale but wasn't white as a sheet meaning he couldn't have been killed long ago. He was dressed in a button-up shirt, that was now torn, and smart trousers with quite smart shoes scraped at the sides. His hair was a light grey colour, not quite white. He had a three-day stubble covering his chin and lower part of the face.
Ronnie reached her hand forward, despite the boys' resistance, to feel his pulse. There was none. "He's still warm," she said gently, turning to face the seven pairs of eyes looking straight at her in the squatting position. "W-What are we gonna do now?" asked Jungkook, his murky eyes showed fear and curiosity. Everybody turned to face the eldest of the group, in an attempt to find an answer. "Don't look at me, I have no idea," he said defensively, shifting from one foot onto the next. Ronnie's gaze veered onto Jimin, his eyes widened. "Jimin," she began "your dads a cop. What should we do?" Ronnie quizzed, looking between the limp body and the blonde-haired boy. "H-How should I know!" Jimin exclaimed while stuttering slightly. "His dad doesn't share anything about the cases," Taehyung stated, causing everyone's view to fall on him. "Jimin tells me these things," the boy standing next to Ronnie said, shrugging his shoulders. "We have to figure out what to do," Ronnie said, shuffling on her feet, in the crouching position she was still in, to face the presumably dead body in front of her. "We can't just leave him here," the whole group sighed, contemplating what to do in this situation.
After a while of intensive thinking and figuring everything out, the group agreed. "Okay let's run through this again," Ronnie said, taking control. "Namjoon, Yoongi, Jin and Taehyung carry the body further into the woods, Jimin and Hoseok will cover any trace that we have come in contact with him and Jungkook and I will dispose of any trail of us ever being here," she explained, in a strong and slow voice. "We never speak of this again, understood?" they all nodded in agreement. The seven boys listened as if their lives depended on it, and frankly, they did. The gang got to work, the four guys that were chosen to rid of the body picked the man up while Jungkook and Ronnie wandered back over to the lake to cover any evidence of the group being there that night. The pair walked in silence, neither of them knew what to say at that moment. Meanwhile, Jimin and Hoseok followed the other boys who carried the lethargic body into the dark forest. They didn't speak either, the only sounds that could be heard were small groans of struggle to lift the body. Although nobody uttered a word, they were all thinking the same thing: what if anyone finds out? Ronnie's mind was racing, trying to figure out if she knew anyone who recently went missing, or any recent murders, but she couldn't think of anything.
Once the body was in the dark depth of the forest and any of the group's traces were covered everybody began heading to Jungkook's house. Taehyung got his hoodie back, quite a while ago, but Ronnie was still cold. Jimin, Tae and Hoseok were walking at the front of the pack, Yoongi, Namjoon with Jin followed behind them. Once again, leaving Ronnie in the back with Jungkook this time. "It's cold," she stated, her voice below a whisper yet Jungkook still seemed to hear her. He began taking the thick material off his body, leaving him in a black short-sleeved shirt. "Put this on," he suggested, Ronnie shook her head implying no. "You're cold, come on," Jungkook pushed until Ronnie finally caved and pulled the pink Off White hoodie on. "Thank you," she thanked him quietly and intertwined their hands not thinking much of it. Ronnie was very close with all the boys, so they often made physical contact like hugging or holding hands. At school, everyone thought she slept with all of them at least twice, but the truth is Ronnie had never done anything sexual with any of them - she's still a virgin too.
When they arrived at the house, they'd be spending the night in, the group split off into pairs. Jimin and Taehyung slept on the couches, Namjoon and Jin agreed to sleep in one of the guest bedrooms as did Hoseok and Yoongi. Meaning Jungkook and Ronnie would sleep in his room, which neither of them minded as they've slept in the same bed before. Seeing as the bunch had many sleepovers, Ronnie shared a bed with every one of them at least once - plus she saw them as brothers.
Immediately, everyone fell asleep exhausted from the outing. Ronnie was still cold, although she was wearing sweatpants she once left here, and one of Jungkook's old hoodies. "Jungkookie?" she asked silently, in case he was asleep. He mumbled a 'yes' telling the girl propped up on her elbow to carry on. "Can we c-cuddle, I'm still-" she was cut off by Jungkook's strong arms embracing her. She smiled as he rested his chin on the top of Ronnie's head and the pair fell asleep.
