"Ron, can we talk in the other room?" Jungkook asked Ronnie, standing up from the couch he shared with Taehyung and Hoseok. "Are you gonna tell her?" Hoseok quizzed, tugging lightly on Jungkook's sleeve. The younger nodded lightly, searching for Ronnie's gaze. The girl stood up off the floor and wandered towards Jungkook. The whole group were hanging out together in Jimin's home.
The pair walked towards the kitchen, which was empty except for the furniture built-in. "What'd you wanna talk about?" the brunette asked, sighing a little bit. Jungkook took a deep breath, fiddling with his hands. "I've been wanting to tell you this for a while," he tried sounding as confident as possible, although inside he was completely crumbling. "I don't want you to be feel forced to give an answer or anything but-"
"Jungkook," Ronnie started "quit beating around the bush," she crossed her arms over her chest. He took in the final deep breath, "Ron, I love you," Jungkook couldn't bear to look her in the eye. "Well, I love you too," Ronnie responded, a small smile playing at her lips. "No Ronnie," Jungkook continued "I love you...as more than a friend," he chewed on his bottom lip as he waited for her response. "Jungkook I..." Ronnie was at loss for words while the boy was aching for her reply. "Look you don't have to-" "Jungkook, I feel the same way," as soon as the words left her mouth, Jungkook's arms were around her waist. The boy nuzzled his face into the crook of Ronnie's neck. "Ron, I couldn't be happier," his voice muffled by her hair. Ronnie suddenly pulled away and started shaking him, his eyebrows furrowed. "Jungkook," she shouted "Jungkook wake up,"
"Jungkook wake up," Ronnie persisted, shaking Jungkook by the shoulders. The pair fell asleep, on the couch, yesterday while continuing the research at home. Jungkook's eyes fly open upon Ronnie shaking his shoulders. "Morning sleepyhead," the girl smirked slightly, seeing Jungkook so off guard gave her a sudden burst of confidence. "Hey," he flashed her a smile, thinking back to when he confessed. That smile quickly faded, as he realised that what he thought was reality was, in fact, just a dream. A small frown washed over Jungkook's features, unfortunately, Ronnie noticed and called him out on it. "What's up Kook? she asked, slightly caressing his arm. "Oh um...nothing, I'm fine," Jungkook forced a small smile on his lips, although he felt a great pain in his chest - most importantly, the left-hand-side.
After Jungkook finally scrambled out of bed, the pair managed to cook, then burn a series of pancakes. At last, they surrendered to coco-pop cereal. "What if," Ronnie interrupted herself with a laugh "what if someone was mixed with a tiger," Jungkook snorted, causing the cereal in his mouth to sip out of his mouth slightly. Ronnie could no longer contain her laughter, "Would the human have tiger legs," the boy choked on his food. "Or would they," Ronnie laughed once more "would they have the top half of a tiger, and human legs" the pair was now in full hysterics. Jungkook abandoned his cereal, now rolling around on the floor and Ronnie was crying from all the laughter she let out.
Once they finally calmed down, Jungkook sat back in his seat and the pair continued eating their cereal. "It wasn't even that funny," he admitted, stuffing his mouth with the sugar-coated breakfast. "It wasn't," Ronnie agreed with the boy sitting beside her.
The pair finished their meal, and Ronnie began gathering her stuff, ready to head back to her home. "I'll call you?" the shorter said, looking back at the boy leaning on the door frame. "I'll be waiting," Jungkook smiled from ear to ear. Then, Ronnie wearing the same clothes as yesterday, began the short walk to her house.
It didn't take her long to get to her home, as she and Jungkook live in the same neighbourhood. Once the girl reached her home, she took off the clothes she had been wearing for the past sixteen hours and hopped in the shower. She lathered her hair with shampoo and conditioner, then moving onto cleaning her whole body.
After Ronnie was done with her shower, she decided to fix herself a snack as it was a while since she had breakfast, with Jungkook. Walking downstairs, Ronnie ran a hand through her damp hair, brushing it back so it stays set back on her scalp. Ronnie knew her mum was at work - lately she's been working more than usual, confusing the teen a small bit. Usually, she would finish her shift and come straight home, but Ronnie had an instinct that she wasn't working late like she was telling her daughter. But these were only suspicions, Ronnie couldn't be sure. However, she knew her mums work required a lot of time and staying longer than usual because a patient came in suddenly.
Ronnie brushed the thought off and began preparing the ingredients she needed for the rice dish she planned to make. After shredding some courgette, draining a can of corn and black beans, chopping some coriander and cooking the rice, she finally assembled everything in a pan. Just as she was about to plate the meal, her phone began ringing. Normally, she'd let it ring out as she was busy, but at that moment the teen began to get curious. Ronnie placed the heavy pan down, wiped her hands on her trousers and walked over to the vibrating mobile device. The name read 'Mum' so, naturally, Ronnie picked the call up. "Hi," she greeted, pressing the phone in between her ear and shoulder. "Hi honey," her mum's voice rang through the speakers. "I called to let you know that I'll be staying late again today," she carried on "So don't wait for me with dinner, and certainly don't wait up, okay? I'll see you later," then she hung up, leaving Ronnie with no way to answer. Confused, she placed the device back on the counter and went back to her food. The brunette sat comfortably on the couch, crossing her legs and placing the warm bowl in between them. She turned the TV on and switched to Netflix, choosing her favourite show: Outerbanks.
The teen ate while watching the show, managing to finish the meal before the episode ended. She switched the TV off and walked back to the kitchen to wash the dishes. Once she was done, she took the stairs back to her bedroom, flopping face down on the bed. Ronnie realised that she, in fact, had nothing to do; school hasn't started yet, she's already watched TV today and nothing is happening in the world of social media. Thinking of her options, only one came to mind. Ronnie took her phone in her hand, dialled the correct number and put the phone up to her ear. "Hey," the male voice rang through her ears. "Hi Yoongles," she responded, taking a deep breath. "What'd you call about?" the boy asked on the other side of the line. "Ah so," she began "I was wondering if you wanted to come over, you can bring the guys too," Ronnie suggested, chewing on her bottom lip. "Alright, I'll be there soon," Yoongi responded, getting up from his chair and walking downstairs to slip his shoes on. "See you," the girl responded while rolling over on her back and smiling up at the ceiling. She hung up the call and stayed on the bed, waiting for the boys to arrive.——————————-this is more of a filler oop sorry hope you had a great day
