Hayden parks in front of the restaurant and quickly gets out of the car walking over to my side. He opens the car door, taking my hand helping me out. What a gentleman. I am still baffled he managed to get my phone number and my address. Now, he's taking me to my favorite restaurant. A few words flash through my head but creep and stalker stick out the most. If he's either one of those, I don't know what to do. I might really be messing with the wrong guy here.

When the waitress comes to our table, Hayden flirts with her and winks at her like I'm not even there. He orders my food for me and gets me a cold water to drink. I don't even have to get to know him, I can already tell he's the arrogant, self-worshipping, and I-always-get-what-I-want type of guy. It's unattractive, taking away from all of his outer beauty.

"Are you kidding Hayden?" I ask soon after the waitress walks away.

"What?" He asks smugly.

"You were just flirting with the waitress in front of me."

"Would you rather I do it behind your back?" He raises his brow.

"I'd rather you not do it at all."

"Oh I'm sorry, Alice." He speaks apathetically with a smug smirk on his face.

"I don't like the way you say my name." I lie. He says my name so sexually, it just seductively rolls off his tongue. He's not doing it on purpose, but that's how it comes out.

"How else am I supposed to say Alice?" I shrug trying not to laugh. He scoffs out of annoyance.

Hayden is so hot. It's a damn shame he only cares for himself and getting laid. "I would totally sleep with you." I tell him out of the blue.

"So, why don't we skip dinner and head back to mine. Or yours. Whichever works best for you?"

"But we wouldn't want to waste all the delicious food you ordered for the both of us." I smirked at him as he shakes his head.

"Why do you do that?" The waitress comes back with my water and Hayden's coke. He winks at her again before she leaves, her cheeks rosy. I switch our drinks, giving him my water. He scoffs but doesn't try to take his drink back.

"Why do I do what?" I ask innocently, knowing exactly what he's talking about. I take a sip of the soda waiting for his answer.

"You start things but don't finish. Why do you do that?"

"I don't know what you're talking about Hayden."

"Don't play dumb with me Alice. Last night, you left just as I was about to come. You're just a tease?" I roll my eyes at him, laughing.

"You asked me out on a date just so you could get into my pants?"

"When you put it like that . . . yes."

"I love your honesty." I reply sarcastically but truthfully. He's blunt and gets straight to the point.

"Not many people appreciate my honesty." He jokes. "Especially Ryder."

"Ryder is the worst, but he comes in handy sometimes." I say laughing. He joins me in laughter adding, "He's okay."

"You have a cute laugh." I point out.

His laughter seizes, "Do you always say whatever comes into your head?"

"I don't know, do you?" I reciprocate his question.

"I asked you first, Alice." My name seductively rolls off his tongue. Jeez, I love the way he says it.

"I don't say everything that comes to my head. I pick and choose what I want to say." I realized he never thanked me for complimenting his laugh. "Are you ever going to say thank you? I complimented you."
