Every thirty minutes or so, I would go check on Antonio. He would be sleeping most of the times unless he needed to use the bathroom. It wasn't too often he had to though. Max handed me a glass of room temp water to take to him a few times to get fluids in him. He would attempt to roll onto his side, and fail each time.

I ended up helping him roll each time while holding the cup to his lips. Almost every time he would break down saying he didn't deserve how I'm treating him. He did get better as the day wore on. By late evening he was finally able to sit up to drink. He could hold me and keep me at his side until I had to leave the room to let him rest more.

After my latest visit there was a knock at the front door. Casey looked out before opening the door. "Awe sh*t." I said. "You were supposed to wait for your uncle to return." My cousin said the moment he laid eyes on me. "It slipped my mind that they were coming until the end of spring break. By then I already had a gash on my right leg refusing to heal, and those two had doctored me up.

"The b*tches at my school were relentless the day I ran. I was surprised I made it across the borders to be honest." I said. "Spring break was when we were wanting to transfer you to our pack." He said. "There's also a problem with that." I told him. "That is?" He asked. "I found my mate in that pack." I said.

He shook his head. "Did he reject you?" He asked. "Not entirely. At school yes. I'm still waiting to hear his reason for it." I said. "Some don't need a reason." Matthew said. "He usually looked hurt after his buddies or the tramps that hung around them would do something to me." I said.

"Did he find you?" He asked. I nodded. "He was in worse shape than I was getting here." I said. "Wait he's here?" Matthew asked. I nodded. He scoffed. "The boy had good intentions for coming to find her. He was just stupid going about it." Casey said. Antonio can act dumb sometimes. The bedroom door opened. Antonio had secured the towel around his waist and was using the door as a crutch.

"Looks like Jase got ahold of him. That's the second in a month." Matthew said. "I didn't know if the wolf that got me is still alive." I said. "He is. He's cooking me dinner right now." He said. "Let me guess." I said. "Yeah. My dad wasn't happy but after meeting him, he likes having another son around. To be honest he's told me he wants a female, so do I, so there might be a female for us." Matthew said as Antonio took the chair next to me. He still looked rough.

"I see he's also injured." Matthew said. "There were two going after me." Antonio said. "And only one ended up in the infirmary." Matthew told him. "The other stayed away after seeing how badly I was injured. I didn't care if I died I was just wanting to make amends with her." Antonio said.

"There is plenty of time for that once you two are healed. Our grandfather is not going to like that you came into his pack without saying hello." Matthew said. Antonio gave me a look. "My grandparents were the acting betas until my oldest uncle was of age." I said. "His oldest is Matthew and I's cousin. My grandparents are also entrusting the oldest of each of their children's children with a trust fund. My parents didn't raise me right so I get their money too." I said.

"She can't touch it until she's one hundred percent mated and puts it towards the kids instead of herself." Matthew said. "Matthew has to do the same thing." I said. Antonio nodded. "Think I'm going to lay back down." He said. "I'd eat first. You are definitely going to need your strength for the next twenty four hours." Max said sitting a plate in front of us both.

"I'll go visit grandpa tomorrow when this one can p*ss in the toilet himself." I told Matthew.
