Listen to Fallin by Why Don't We

It was Wednesday, I only had two more days left. My hands were trembling just by thinking of him and now I'll be forced to be with that vile man. If only I hadn't of went there, maybe none of this would of ever happened. I was going to live with a monster, not because I wanted to, I was forced to. I tried to hold back the tears that were threatening to fall. Taking deep breaths I eyed my house. It was small unlike his. It was cozy unlike his. I worked hard for everything in my house, from paper to jewelry. I'm a baker, and he's a King. How could two opposites even meet? Well they did, because I wanted to celebrate and have the time of my life at an office party.

He was illuminating, charming in all ways. As some would say a Greek god. I chuckled at the thought of meeting with him, I was so foolish to think that he would actually care. Why would a random stranger care about me? Who was I to him?

Flashback

"Kiara! Guess what, we've been invited to this huge party!" My best friend, Arie squealed. Her light brown hair dancing as she moves.

She wore her usual outfit, a turtle neck with denim jean tucked under our apron. She had a hair in a loose ponytail, her glasses had a bit of flour on them but none the less she looked beautiful.

"What? Really?" I asked her shocked.

It wasn't like we've never been to parties or been invited but it was odd that someone would want to have a party when it was almost winter. In our town a lot of people hate winter and especially the snow. I could never understand why they hated it and would frown upon you if you enjoyed it. Because of that nobody would have parties during winter, if they did not a lot of people would attend.

"The owner of our hotel decided to celebrate our 200th year anniversary and since we are one of the best cooks, we are invited." Arie explained cheerfully.

Arie and I were very much alike. We almost had the same opinion on everything. I met Jade at my university, we instantly become best buddies. Unlike me Jade has brown hair with some highlights, she wears glasses with killer makeup, and she likes to dress simple and cozy. My outfits depend on my mood really, I have dirtt blonde hair and blue eyes.

We both jumped up down squealing as if we were seven years old girls who got their barbie castle for christmas. Though now I prefer cash, but I'm pretty sure seven year olds don't mind.

We both went shopping and I bought a new dress that I got for a killer discount. Score! The dress was a light pink floral ruffle high waist dress and I paired it with gold heels and finished my look off with simple makeup. Arie and I rented a car to the party. The both of us were so pumped to rock that party and get so exhausted till we say "Am I 70 years old? My back-ouch!" However we were extremely disappointed at the party, it turns out it was a ballroom type of party. The whole night several gentleman tried to ask me for a dance but I didn't feel like dancing. Just as I was about to decline one more dance this guy-
