What now?

I woke up with Jack by my side. "hey." he smiled. I turned away. "You okay?" He asks. I Lay silently. "Can you just talk to me, what did I do?" He speaks again. I sit up turning to him. "Do I even have to tell you what you did? you should know your mistake." I said. "Evelyn?" He asked. "fuck off Gilinsky." I said standing up.

I walked out of the room walking down the hall. I didn't know exactly where I was going but I was tired of just sitting around. After I walked a couple halls down my body started to ache and my legs began to give on me. I fell to the ground crying. "Ev, you okay?" I heard a familiar voice. I look up. Mathew. "I can't move." I say. Matthew grabs my arms pulling me up then carrying me in his arms bridal style. "Thank you." I say. "He turns the corner starting to bring me back to my room. "Can we not go back to my room." I say. He stops turning back around. "Sure, guess we'll have to sneak out then." He says smiling. "have I ever told you that your the bestest friend?" I ask slightly smiling. "No, but maybe you should more." He laughs

We get in th elevator quietly and get off hurrying outside before anyone could see. "Thanks matt." I said as he sat me in the passengers side of his car. "No problem. So where do you want to go?" He asks. I shrug my shoulders telling him I don't care. "I'm just happy to be out of that bed." I say relaxing. We decide to just drive around for a while.

As we pass a lake I watch as a bunch of kids our age sit around laughing and swimming. Sometimes I wished we could have that normal life. Feel what it's like to be a normal teenager. "So what did the doctors say?" Matt asked. I thought for a minute. "Well, I should be fine. but um there's just a little problem that I'll talk to you about when I actually get out of the hospital." I say sighing. "Which will be when?" He asks. "I really don't know but I'm hoping it's soon.

We go eat before starting our drive back to the hospital. "You know jack is sorry right." Matt says as we're driving back. I lean my head against the window. "That doesn't make it right." I said. He laughs. "How is this funny!?" I say sitting straight up.

He smirks "Don't act like nothing's been going on with you and Shawn." He states. Well fuck. "Oh shut up." I say rolling my eyes. " I'm serious! I see the way you guys look at each other." he says smiling. I feel my cheeks get warm. "Do you still love him?" Matt asks more seriously.

Do I still love him? Of course. Do I want to? Of course not. Can I help it? Not at all. I wish I could fight my feelings but I can't. I love him, wow. "Yeah.." I say. "Well, honestly I think that Jack is worse, at least you didn't screw Shawn." Matt says shrugging. I feel my face burn bright red as I burry my face in my hands. "Wait? Am I missing something?!?" He asks.

"Ha-ha-ha well see, it's kinda funny actually." I say sarcastically. "Please don't tell me you took my little Shawn's virginity." He says. "Oops." I sink into my seat. "Don't tell anyone or I swear I'll cut you boy!" I say. He gives me a scared look. " hey! ThTs not nice e."
