Nobody's POV:

Bakugou's small frame bounces up and down on the sofa as he gazes out of the large window anxiously awaiting another letter from his beloved pen- pal Kirishima.

His face immediately brightens up when he sees the mail man walk up to his driveway with an abundance of envelopes in hand. He makes a happy squeal as he prances over to the doorway to retrieve the mail, his expression resembling that of an obedient dog.

Soon to explode with euphoria, Bakugou listens for the sound of the doorbell. After what feels like forever to his small 11 year old self, he finally hears the reassuring sound of the doorbell ringing.

He jumps up from his seat on the floor and runs towards the door at full speed yanking it open with all of his might. With what's left of his endless energy, the 11 year old jumps up to the mail box and pries the mail from it.

He examines all of the envelopes until he sees one titled 'From: Kirishima'. He lifts it up excitedly and then does a twirl with joy. He takes the letter and runs into the house leaving the other mail behind.

He shuts the door closed just as quickly and with as much force as he had opened it. The boy skips to his room, each step filled with more bounce than the last and sets the letter on his small desk littered with stationary.

He tears open the envelope with little regard for anything except the letter inside. Once he finally gets the letter out, he unfolds it skillfully and squeals at the writing inside. As he reads the first sentence he releases a grunt because he hates Kirishima's stupid nickname but as he continues reading his eyes grow wide and it's almost like he's cherishing every single sentence that he comes across.

The letter reads:

Hey Bakubro! I'm so excited to write to you again! I mean geez it's been a while since I've written to you! Things are going great here, me and my moms' are as happy as ever and the weather is great! I even made a new friend, her name is Mina! Isn't that a nice name? Anyways, I missed your letters, they make me feel so happy and warm! I hope things are going well with you~❤️

Sincerely, Kirishima

Bakugou grows flustered at the small heart drawn near the end of the letter. Kirishima's letters truly did make him feel so cheery and nice, he felt the same way that Kirishima claimed he felt when he reads his letters.

Sure, the letter was short and the writing was nearly illegible but Bakugou found himself enjoying nearly anything that Kirishima could offer. He still remembers the first letter he got, how hesitant he was to read it and how confused he was when it arrived. His mother had told him that the letter was from the son of a good friend and he wasn't crazy about the idea of actually writing to anyone, especially a stranger. But, he found that the boy that he was to write to wasn't critical or close-minded and this quickly changed his mindset. Bakugou soon found himself anticipating every letter from the boy.

Bakugou smiles at the memory and then grabs a pencil and paper off of his desk. His hand looks as if it's moving on his own he's so excited.

His handwriting is rushed and sloppy but the blond is just happy to have a chance to write back to his best- friend Kirishima. Usually when it comes to writing, it takes a lot of inspiration for the boy to even get a paragraph down but for a reason unknown to him, whenever it came to responding to Kirishima's letters there wasn't a single bone in his body that testified.

The soft scratching of the graphite against paper fills the room. Bakugou's mind is filled with things to write and scenarios that Kirishima might find interesting.

All Bakugou really wants is to please the red-haired boy. It's the one thing that consumes him as a whole, Bakugou often spends his days wondering if Kirishima also anticipates his letters.

A starry-eyed Bakugou runs downstairs with a finished letter in his hand to grab a stamp and envelope for his letter. Mitsuki gazes down at the energetic boy and watches as he swings the door open.

He runs outside and sticks the letter into the mailbox.

He stays outside for a bit and looks up at the nearly dark sky and smiles before walking back inside a tad bit displeased knowing that he won't get a letter replying to his for about another three weeks.

He groans wanting an immediate answer from the other boy his mom notices and ruffles his hair playfully with a small smirk plastered on her face.

"What's got you looking all sad today?" Bakugou pouts.

"It's nothing just- I won't get to talk to Kirishima for a long time..." he trails off looking down at his feet bashfully. Mitsuki smiles.

"Y'know... I have his mothers' phone number, I can get one of his moms to put him on the phone so you guys can talk..." Bakugou's eyes sparkle.

"Really?!" Mitsuki chuckles

"Yeah."
