Nobody's POV:

Bakugou was totally restless. He needed someone, or something to be more specific, tonight was one of those nights when he couldn't get Kirishima out of his head.

He wanted to wake up in his arms and feel Kirishima's breath on his neck. He needed the warmth of another person and he wanted that other person to be Kirishima.

No, he needed that other person to be Kirishima. It felt like he was suffocating in contempt without the red-head's arms to hold him close. He tried taking deep breaths, in and out until it got so repetitive that all of his breaths became long drags.

He decided to call Kirishima over, he needed to hear his voice before he made another dumb decision. Kirishima could usually take his mind off of things for at least long enough to make him reconsider.

With shaky hands, he reached for his phone and dialed Kirishima's number.

Kirishima picked up almost immediately, Bakugou's now erratic breathing was all it took for him to get the hint. He understood right away.

"Bakugou love, just breathe, it'll be alright I'm here for you." Bakugou was trying to breathe but every breath he took felt like a sharp pain in his lungs. He tried to focus on something, his eyes stung and his face felt hot.

He was going to cry.

"Bakugou, focus on my words alright. Do you want me to sing to you?" And that was the thing about Kirishima, he was so sweet and caring, he was always there for Bakugou even if he didn't have a way to get to his house, he would always answer his calls and stay on the line with him until he fell asleep.

"Y-yes" Bakugou was always so big and strong so of course there were times when he would break down like this, the world put him under so much pressure. To them being a man was more like being a puppet, empty of emotions and sentiments other than those that could cause others pain.

He hated it, he just wanted to cry. A deep breath from Kirishima.

"Lately I been, I been loosing sleep, dreaming about the things that we could be. But baby I've been I've been prayin' hard" Kirishima's voice was soft and deep enough to make the song sound more like a lullaby. Bakugou began to calm down.

"Said no more counting dollars we'll be counting stars....yeah we'll be counting...stars." Bakugou started to breathe in longer more dragged out breaths. Kirishima smiled, it was funny how cocky he seemed when there were  moments like this that made his heart melt.

"I see this life like a swinging vine, swing my heart across the line, in my faces flashing signs, seek it out and you shall find the old but I'm not that old young but I'm not that bold" Kirishima's voice was still slow and patient, it was just what the blond needed. Bakugou held his pillow tightly and felt his eyelids grow heavier with every word.

"And I don't think the world is sold, just doing what we're told." Bakugou closed his eyes and soon soft snoring could be heard. The other line went silent for a minute.

"Goodnight Bakugou." Kirishima waited a minute, then two, then three before he hung up. Bakugou slept well, the sound of Kirishima's soft singing rung in his head as he drifted off.

One thing was for certain, Kirishima brought out the best in him.

When Bakugou woke up the next morning, the day went by like normal. Everything was racing forward at full speed and Bakugou's head was spinning, he could barely keep up.

But he held out, no drinking, no sex. He just let his mind wander. He was paid to assassinate a senator that he'd barely even heard about, the man was silent which Bakugou was grateful for because usually the screams of the people he'd shot would keep him up at night.

He didn't have much to do for the rest of the day, time went by and he could only lay around. He slept and ate a little bit, he didn't exactly feel like doing much and yet time seemed to pass so quickly.

Before he knew it, it was nine and he was tired again. Since the previous assassination went smoothly he assumed he'd be getting paid around half a billion dollars or so.

He had the leisure to lay around all day and sleep. But then when the sun went down he would spend all night gripping his hair in madness and clutching onto his sheets for some kind of security.

But strangely, tonight wasn't like that, even despite the fact that Bakugou had already fell asleep multiple times in the day. It was peaceful, he remembered that there was someone who cared about him.

It felt like years of trauma had been stripped away and he was finally freed. Apparently a lover like Kirishima had the power to make him feel that way.

The two lived miles away, it was so hard to see each other often but Kirishima's presence felt eternal, like he would be by Bakugou's side no matter what, be it on the phone or in person.

Kirishima was one hell of a man and that was for certain. This time Bakugou pulled his phone out and called Kirishima, whose number was on speed dial because Bakugou always needed to hear goodnight from him.

Kirishima picked up almost immediately as usual.

"Are you alright Bakugou?" Kirishima asked, he didn't feel like anything was particularly wrong with Bakugou but he still felt the need to check up on him.

"Yeah, I just wanted to tell you goodnight." There was no worry in his voice, in fact Kirishima noticed that Bakugou was humming softly. He smiled at this.

"Mhm, goodnight then love." Bakugou smiled sleepily.

"Goodnight."

I hope you liked it, I know it wasn't much but like I've said before I get sick often and it was really bad this time so I slept a lot
