Once harry had calmed down a little he picked me back up and we went under the cloak again,I was still shocked,I couldn't believe that the mass murderer that killed Harry's parents 13 muggles and a man called Peter petteigrew was married to my dad,my stepdad!I have so many questions but I'll ask those later.Hermionie and Ron went back up to the castle and me and harry went back through honeydukes and into the celler,we walked down the really long corridor again and harry crawled out of the back of the statue once we got out he put me back down and we walked down the corridor to the griffindor common room.once we got in harry took off the cloak and went up to his dorm to put it away,I went and sat on the floor just staring into the fire eventually harry came and sat next to me wrapping an arm around my shoulder.

"You just never get a break do you harry" I quietly said to him trying to lighten the mood.a small smirk appears on his face.

"I guess not but at least this time I have someone that understands what I'm going through"

I looked up at him and smile and he smiled back and we just sat in silence for a while enjoying each others company.After a long time we walked down to the Great hall together neither of us knew what else to say to eachother.when we got to the entrance to the Great hall and harry gave me a side hug and went to sit with his friends while I went to my seat at the staff table and sat down in-between dad and uncle sev.

"Hey sweetheart did you have fun today"he said while he gave me a kiss on the head.

"Erm...yeah it was fun"I mumbled pushing around the food on my plate.

"Are you alright Ava"

"No but I don't want to talk about it here,I'll tell you when we get to our room"

"Alright"he said with a concerned face and held my hand under the table and rubbed circles on the back of my hand with his thumb.I ate a little but of food then me and dad walked up to his classroom and into his private quarters.he sat on the edge of his bed and sat me on his lap.

"So what's going on?"

"Well I was at hogsmede with Ron and Hermione and we were in the three broomsticks,we were just talking until some teachers and a man that I didn't know walked in, I think someone called him cornelius"

"Oh that is the minister of magic, why would he be at the three broomsticks?"

I then told him everything that me and harry had heard and by the end I was caring again.

"Is it true?what that man said"

He looked at me with a really sad face for a minute until he eventually said

"Yes,it's all true I'm sorry darling I didn't want you to find out like that"he hugged me tightly and I could see the pain on his face.

"It's ok daddy it's not your fault,it's all Sirius fault"

He looked at me again and have me a weak smile and wiped my tears away.

"Ok it's getting late now,how about I tell you a story"

"Alright"

"Remember it's a full moon tonight so when you fall asleep I'll take you into the classroom and out protective spells on the door so no one comes in.

He sat me on the bed and then went and got a book from his bookshelf.i went and laid down on his bed and he came and laid next to me and put his arm around me and I lead my head on his chest while he told me a story about him and his friends when they were at school together and I fell asleep.

Last night must have been a bad full moon cuz when I woke up I was on the floor and felt really sick and muscles hurt a lot and when I looked around the room dad was on the floor too and he looked really sick.oh god i thought to myself.

"Winky!"

*Pop* a small house elf appeared that I knew from the times Fred and George took me down to the kitchens with them.

"Is yound mistress lupin ok?"

"No I'm not winky please take me and my dad down to the hospital wing.

"Yes young mistress"

She took my hand and I took a hold of my dad's hand and winky apperated us to the hospital wing.the loud pop sound made Madame pomfret come out of her office to find us on the floor after winky disappeared again.

"Goodness what happened here!"

She used magic to get me and dad onto the hospital beds and started exammaning us.

"I don't know Madame pomfrey I just woke up after the full moon and we were on the floor and my hole body really hurts so I shouted for winky and she apperated us here"

"Did you both take the wolfsbane?"

"Of course that's it,we forgot to take it because we were really distracted last night,oh my god anything could have happened"

"Calm down it's alright dear"

She took if my PJs and I was covered in cuts and bruises.when I saw them it made me really scared so Madame pomfrey had to give me dreamless sleep so that she could work.

I woke up later on and I had a couple of bandages on me.i saw dad and uncle sev sat next to my bed arguing.dad had a couple of bruises but otherwise he looked ok.

"Dad"I said quietly.they both stopped and turned to look at me dad took my hand in his and I could see how upset and looked.

"Oh Avery I'm so sorry"

"Why?what happened?"

Uncle sev started speaking before dad could explain.

"Your father here forgot to give you and himself the wolfsbane potion last night and it seems like your wolf forms attacked eachother but since you were smaller you were hurt more"

"I'm so sorry Ave" dad apologised again

"It's alright daddy you and me both know that we can't control ourselves when we are in our wolf forms so really it wasn't even you that hurt me it was moony"

A small smile graced his lips and he had tears in his eyes.

"You are very understanding cub thank you, you always seem to know what to say,Madame pomfrey says that you'll have to stay here all day so I'll stay with you"

"But what about your class"

"I'll teach the class"uncle sev piped in and I smiled at him.i looked at the clock and saw that there was ten minutes until the class started.

"Well I'd go now if I were you it's 10 to 8" he turned around and looked at the clock then stood up,gave me a smile and left the room with his cloak billowing behind him.

After classes that day Hermione came into the room and walked over to my bed.

"Hey Ava I ask proffesor Snape where you were and he said that you were in here so I came to see if you were ok?"

"I'm fine Hermione I'll be out tomorrow"

"That's good but while I'm here can I ask you something?"

"Sure"

She leaned in closer and looked around to see if anyone was arounf.dad and Madame pomfrey were in her office so no one was around.

"Are you a werewolf?"she whispered
And my eyes widened.

"What makes you think that?" I asked her starting to get worried.no one was supposed to know.

"I did some reading on them and it explains a lot about you and proffesor lupin,you can tell me I promise I won't tell anyone else"

"Okay,yes we are but I promise you we are not evil we are good people"I didn't want her to leave me as she and the Ron and harry were the first friends I've ever had.

"It's ok I believe and I promise I won't tell anyone"

"Thank you so much Hermione,why were you reaserching werewolfs anyway"

She then went on a rant and explained the whole lesson and the homework and I was shocked.hiw could uncle sev do that to us he knows what would happen if our secret gets out.i was so mad at him I don't think I'm ever going to talk to him again.
