Today me,Ron and Hermione we stood in a snowy clearing in hogsmede looking at the shrieking shack.We had just been in a bunch a shops and decide to just talk and relax for a while.

"Did I mention that it is the most haunted place in Britain"

Obviously I knew that that was fake,the so called shrieking that people heard was my dad transforming when he was at school but because no one knew about him the villigers just made up that it was haunted and dumbeldoor encouraged the theories to hide dad's secret.

"Yeah you have Hermione,only 5 times already!"

I giggled and Hermione just scowled at him.We just stared at the shack enjoying the peace and quiet away from everything else that was going on this year but,a slimy git decided to come and ruin it.

"House hunting are you weaselbee it's a bit grand for you isn't it,don't you family sleep in erm one room"

"Shut up malfoy at least Ron's family actually loves him"

"I think we need to teach this filthy halfbreed how to respect her superiors"

"Oh I hope you don't mean yourself"

"How dare you talk to me,you filthy little mudblood"

I was about to insult him back but a big clump of mud came out of no where and hit malfoy on the face.we all started laughing at him.

"Who threw that"

All if a sudden there was chaos, Crabbe's trousers fell down, Goyle's hat was pulled over his eyes then he was swung around by his scarf and finally malfoy was dragged down the hill towards the shack by his feet.We couldn't believe what we were seeing,it was hilarious.we couldn't breathe because we were laughing so much.The thing dropped malfoy and he scrambled up the hill dragging his two goons with him back up to castle.Just before malfoy left Harry's head appeared,he must have been under the cloak and it's slipped off.Malfoy saw harry and an evil smirk spread across his face as he ran back to the castle.

"Harry that was absolutely amazing but you need to get back to the castle before malfoy tattles on you to a proffesor"

Harry nodded and covered himself with the cloak and raced back to Hogwart.

"This is not going to end well is it"
I asked them and they both nodded"I have an idea,come on let's get back"

We went back through the village and got on the carriages.When we were there I jumped if the carriage and ran down to the potions classroom.If I knew Draco malfoy which I unfortunately did he would have told Uncle sev about harry because  he knows that uncle sev hates harry.I got to the classroom and burst through the door where uncle sev was towering over harry holding the map in his hand and dad was stood next to him.This can't be good at all.

"I got..it for..harry...on one of my... hogsmede trips"I told them,still out of breath from running all the way down here.

"Well there you go then Severus,I susspecy it's just a zonkos product designed to insult anyone that tries to read it"

He looked at me for conformation and I nodded.

"Perfect,I guess I will be leaving now and can you come with me harry I need to talk you you about the vampire essay"

Uncle sev looked like was about to explode with anger.Dad walked out of the classroom and took my hand on the way out.I could see that he looked really mad which was quite unlike him.I know that he knew what it was but I couldn't think why he would be annoyed that we had it.He led us both to his classroom and leaned against his desk while harry stood Infront of him with a nervous expression.

"I am astounded that you both know knew about this map,yes harry I know it's a map,and didn't hand it in"he sighed"do you have any idea about how dangerous this map could be in the hands of Sirius black"

We both shook our heads and he sighed again.

"Of course you didn't.Harry you parents gave their life to protect you and I don't think that gambling away their scrafuce is a good way to repay them,you should get back to your common room and don't take any detours"he taps the map"or I'll know"

Harry left the room and dad went into kitchen dragging his hand through his hair.I went over to dad's desk and stood on his chair to look at the map,I saw the trio in the common room,twins running around the corridors probably causing mischief and my own name however there was one name on the map in the classroom that sent chills down my spine,harry had told me that he saw it before but I didn't believe him.

"Holy sh-"

"Don't you dare finish that sentence Avery lupin"
Dad scolded walking back into the room.

"Sorry dad but forget that for now come here you need to see this!'

Dad walked over to where I was stood and took me off the chair and put me in his hip,moving the chair out of the way so he good get a good view.

"What am I looking at Ava?"

"There"

I pointed towards Peter's name on the map that was in the griffindor common room.Dads eyebrows nearly touched his hair line.

"Holy shit"

"Exactly,he is supposed to be in a grave not in the griffindor common room"

"This can't be happening,the map is never wrong"

"Dad calm down harry said he had seen it on the map a couple of times so he must have been there for a while,if he was going to hurt anyone he would have done it by now,anyways he wouldn't dream of it with dumbeldoor around"

Dad took a deep breath and hooded.
Now I knew Sirius didn't want me to help him with his plan to prove his innocence but just try to convince one person.

"Hey dad what if the reason Sirius came into the castle was to find Peter and not to kill harry because if he didn't kill him obviously he would be mad at him for accusing him of doing so"

Dad looked down at his ring finger wand played with the golden ring placed on it.

"You know what cub?"

He turned his head up to look at me and smiled.

"I think you might be right"
