he's back again

Ever since he saw Peter on the map dad has been more on edge than ever but he has also been way happier.I think that the idea of his husband not being a murderer is the reason for that.So I decided that this was a good time to ask him about Sirius because I have always wanted to know about him but whenever I mentioned him he always changed the subject so when I woke this morning I went straight downstairs,I couldn't be bothered to get dressed because it was a weekend so I didn't care and found him sat on the sofa reading a book.I walked over and sat down next to him.

"Good morning cub"

"Dad can I ask you a question"

"Well you already have"he chuckled"what is it?"

"What was Sirius black like when you two were together"

He sighed and put his book down and pulled into his lap.

"Well he was great,he was not very different how how he was in our school days,he was very free spirited and fun loving so there was never really a boring day in the house"

I laughed

"however he did settle down a little because he was very over protective of you but he still did his pranks and you absolutely loved them"

"I bet you didn't like them very much"

"I did not as I usually ended up cleaning up the mess,he also did one think that really bothered me when you were growing up"

"What was it?"

"Well when you were learning how to speak Sirius some how got you to call him daddy but he also taugh you to call me mommy so when I tried to teach you to call me papa you would just get confused and not do it"

That caused me to burst out laughing and dad playfully scowled at me.

"He actually did that and it worked"

"Yes but as you got older I was able to get you to call me dad instead,thank god"

I smiled at him and he smiled back.we spent the rest of the day just like that until it got to around 6:00 in the afternoon.

"Hey dad Harry asked me if I wanted to sleep over with him and his friends in the common room tonight,can I"

"Sure,I'll come and get you in the morning"

"Thanks dad"I got up and went into the bedroom and grabbed a bag that I had already packed.I ran back into the living quarters,gave dad a hug goodbye and left for the griffindor common room.when I got there sir caddigon would not let me in,he kept saying that because I wasn't a student I had to win a duel against him to let him in but luckily harry opened the portrait and let me in.

When I walked in Fred,George,ginny,ron and Hermione were sat on the floor and on the couches.They had covered the floor in blankets,pillows and they had food in a pile in the middle.

"Fred and George snuck into the kitchen and brought us up a feast"

"Cool"

I walked over and sat in-between the twins.

"Finally we are all here and we can eat now"

Everyone rolled their eyes at run and dug into food.we all laughed and told jokes until the early hours of the morning.I felt like I had only just fallen asleep when I was woken up by a really loud scream.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH"

I immidiately snapped my eyes open and Sirius was stood right over Ron holding a knife.He looked over at me and I tilted my head over towards the door and he gave me a swift wink and ran out of the room.The others had started to wake up and people coming down from their dorms yawning and rubbing their eyes.

"What happened?"

"Who screamed?"

"Alright everyone,back up to your dorms!"

The twins sat up beside me"are we starting the party again?!"

Professor McGonagall walked through the portrait in a long dressing gown and her hair in a plait.

"What is going on here,Percy I expected better of you"

"I certainly didn't authorize this professor I-" but he was cut off by Ron

"PROFESSOR,SIRIUS BLACK,STANDING OVER ME WITH A KNIFE"

Harry's eyes widened and he came over to where I was and tightly held my hand.

"I think you've had a nightmare Mr Weasley"

"It wasn't a nightmare,Ask him if he saw him"

He was pointing at the back of Sir caddigon's portrait.Mcgonagall walked back through the portrait,glaring suspiciously at Ron on the way.

"Excuse me did you let a man into the common room"

"Certainly good lady"

"But...the password?"

"He had all this week's,read them off a little sheet of paper"

"Which absent-mindly foolish person wrote down this week's password on a small sheet of paper?"

There was slience throughout the room until a barley audible squeek was heard from the back of the crowd.Neville longbottom slowly raised his hand.

No one in griffindor tower slept that night and harry never left my side.We got news later on that he had escaped yet again.Thank god.Harry on the other hand was really annoyed.When it finally got to morning the others went upstairs and then came back down later on with their uniforms on,coinsidently they had defense against the dark arts first so I could walk with them.We walked down to the Great hall and you could tell something had happened to the griffindors,they looked so tired one kid even fell asleep with his face in his cereal.

"Excuse me are you Ron Weasley?"

What I think was a first year huffelpuff came over to where we were sat.

"Erm yeah?

"Is it true that you saw Sirius black?"

Ron then provided to explain the whole story and that kept happening,starting in the Great hall and even all the way to the defense against the dark arts class,he had become and instant celebrity and he was definitely enjoying all the attention,the more people that asked the more exagerated the story became.we got to the classroom early so it was just us and dad in the classroom.

"Hey fun did you have fun last night"

"For the most part yeah"

His features contorted into a confused face.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Maybe you should ask Ron" I told him with a smirk.

"Alright?Mr.weasley would you mind explaining what happened last night

Ron looked happy but every other person in the room rolled their eyes and groaned.

"Sure proffesor,so we had just fallen asleep and I could feel someone breathing on me so I opened my eyes and he was stood right in front of ne,he looked like a skelliton and he had a real sick smile on his face.The worst thing though was that he was holding an at least 12 inch knife and so I got up and stole the knife from him and all the noise was waking up other people,one of the others screamed and then Sirius fled the room"

During the story there were a lot more eye rolls and a couple face palms.Dads eyes had widened and and he had put an arm around me and he just stood there probably off in his own works thinking about Sirius.I stood on a chair and waved my hand Infront of dad's face.

"What's wrong with him?"

Harry started walking over and I smiled at him.

"He's fine he has just zoned out but I'll fix it"

I put my hand Infront of his face and smacked him on the forehead in between his eyes.He came out of his daze and frowned at me.

"Nice to have you back dad,you should probably start your class now"

He took me off the chair and playfully shoved me,he let the rest of the class in and began his lesson on hinkypunks.
