Chapter 2: A New Love

"How amazing was it that he brought out MGK? And that fuckin song?! It gave me such a nostalgic feeling!" Julian raved on about YungBlud's performance.

"Dude, he was so energetic! He definitely has shown us up in that department! I was about to fall over once he was done." Kara replied in amazement.

Her and Julian were heading back to their tent to pack it up and head back home, since it was the last day for the Warped Tour festivities.

"I know and what the fuck was up with the dress?! It was... awesome!" Julian never seen a dude wearing a dress like that, at least not one that had a girlfriend. He loved how he had the "I don't care what people think" attitude.

"How about the fact that you actually fuckin met him!" Kara grabbed onto Julian and gave him a giant hug. "I think we found a new love!"

"Oh! You have no fuckin idea, Babe!" Julian laughed aloud.

He couldn't help but replay his accidental brief encounter with YungBlud on the ride back home with Kara... oh wait...

"He said his name was Dom!" Julian remembered all of a sudden.

This threw Kara off as it was so abrupt and they hadn't been talking just then. "Who?" She questioned.

"YungBlud. His real name is Dom." Julian said again. He was pondering more on the name YungBlud somehow coinciding with Dom.

And just as if Kara read Julian's mind, which she was always pretty good at doing from time to time, she said out loud what Julian was thinking, "Dom huh... where do you think he got the name YungBlud from?"

They both sat in silence for a moment trying to think of how that could have come about, but knowing so little about him still and only just discovering him that evening, they couldn't really piece that together.

When Julian and Kara got home, they both hugged each other good night and went their separate ways to their houses. Kara and Julian still lived with their parents for now so they were still across the street from each other as always. Once Julian got inside his house, he went straight upstairs into his bedroom to research some more about this Dom guy.

He spent this first night listening to all of YungBlud's songs and falling in love with it all. He was hoping Kara was doing the same so he could talk with her about it later that day as it was already two in the morning.

The next morning when he awoke, he realized he had fallen asleep listening to his music. He didn't mind though. It was a nice way to wake up so he just lie there staring out his window as he listened to a song called, Psychotic Kids. The bright light from the sun was pouring in and just beyond that, he could see Kara's house across the road from his.

After lying in his bed, and watching a few of YungBlud's music videos on his YouTube channel, Julian decided it was time to get up and make an appearance for the day.

He gave his headphones a rest, but continued to play the music as he got ready for the day. As he was just finishing up, he heard a knock on his bedroom door.

"Come in." He stated as he turned the music down a bit.

His mother walked in, a loving smile on her face. "Hey, Honey. How was the show?" She walked over and sat on Julian's bed. She loved to listen to her son's stories.

"It was so awesome! Best one yet, I think!" Julian exclaimed, turning around from his laptop to look at his mother. "I actually discovered a new artist, and I really really like him! Here, let me show you."
