Kara followed Julian all the way to Lori's house to make sure they got there safely. Once she saw Julian walk Lori inside she drove off back to her house.

Julian layed Lori down on her bed. He took off her shoes and covered her up.

"Julian." He heard Lori's soft voice say as he was covering her up with her blanket.

"Hmm?" He finished covering her and sat down near her.

"Can you stay with me?" She turned and lightly hugged onto to him.

"Is it okay with your mom?" He asked.

"She's at your dads. I'd be alone here. Please stay." She sounded pretty out of it.

"Sure.", he layed himself down next to her, "I'll stay."

During the night, Julian found himself tossing and turning. He felt like he only got about an hour of actual sleep. The rest he spent awake. His mind was racing and he didn't know how to shut it off. He was thinking about Dom again. He took his phone out and saw it was low battery. He didn't have his charger with him. He decided, maybe if he finally texts him then just maybe he will get some sleep. Julian went to the draft sitting in his inbox with Dom's name on it. He opened it up and decided to just send something simple.

Julian: Hey Dom. It's Julian. I don't know if you remember me, but I just wanted to see how you were doing since I last saw you.

Julian sent the text and put his phone down. He turned over on his back and stared at the ceiling. He did that for a long while until he finally fell asleep. He was woken up by the sound of the shower. He looked to his side and saw Lori was gone. He assumed that was her in the shower. He decided to make himself get up. He picked up his phone and discovered it died at some point through the night.

Not too long after he made himself get up, Lori came in the room. Her towel wrapped around her.

"Oh. Hey." Julian automatically turned his face as to not look at her.

"Hey sleepy head. How are you?" She sounded happy.

"I'm alright, you sound chipper. No hangover?"

"No. Surprisingly." She paused then said, "You don't have to look away from me Julian. I'm your girlfriend."

"Oh. Haa. Right." He hesitantly turned back around as he saw her begin to brush her wet hair. Julian admittedly loved all the freckles she had. He thought it made her unique, with the red hair too.

"So, what's your plans today?" She asked.

"Oh. I have the night shift tonight. That's about it I guess."

"Well, do you maybe wanna do something or do you need a break from me?" She chuckled. "I wont be mad if you need a break. I'm sure I was probably annoying lastnight."

"No. Actually, you weren't annoying at all. Do you remember anything?"

"Yeah. For the most part I remember everything." She finished brushing her hair and then sat down next to Julian.

He could see the droplets on her fair skin. She analyzed his face.

He blushed, "What?"

"Just happy your here. Thank you for not leaving me lastnight." She smiled.

"Of course! I'm glad you got enough sleep and you aren't feeling like death today. Everyone thought you would, but now you can prove otherwise." He smiled back.
