Dom and Julian went out for a drink to try to feel something normal after all these events that happened the past couple days. They went to their favorite spot, Jukes, and sat down at the bar together. After they ordered their beers, they finally settled into their bar stools to relax.

"You know, your mum is pretty badass." Dom stated to Julian who was chugging his beer like he never drank anything in his life. Dom watched with a smile on his face. "Wow." Was all he could manage to say.

Julian slammed his glass down and asked for another one.  "She is, isn't she?" Julian agreed with Dom. "How could so many negative things happen, but then these positive things don't fall too short after."

"Because not all of life is bad. You will have times that suck, Julian, but there will be better days. You just have to stay around long enough to experience them." Dom grabbed hold of Julian's hand and held onto it. "But you already knew that, didn't you?" Dom winked and smiled.

Julian smiled back and rested his eyes on Dom's hand holding his. "So, you're my boyfriend according to my mother, but we don't have to make it an official thing if you don't want to. We never actually talked about that."

Dom gave Julian's hand a squeeze then let go to stand up. Julian gazed up at Dom as Dom spun Julian's bar stool around to face him. Dom placed  his hands on either of Julian's thighs and looked into his eyes, "Julian. Come dance with me?"

"Dance with you? In public?" Julian felt embarrassed all of a sudden, but he couldn't stop staring into Dom's green eyes as he spoke.

"Yes. In public. Do you not remember who I am? Come on, let's go!" Dom smiled and held his hand out, waiting for Julian to take it.

Julian hesitated, but took Dom's hand and they made their way to the middle of the dance floor.

"I don't know how to dance with a dude." Julian admitted.

"It's nothing different from a lass, now come on." Dom started to slowly move his hips around, which was making Julian blush.

Julian just kind of swayed to the song that was playing, though it wasn't very slow.

"Is that all you've got?" Dom asked, laughing at Julian being timid.

Then Julian shouted, "Hold on! I have an idea!"

Dom nodded his head and Julian walked away into the crowd of people.

Dom was good at dancing by himself so that's what he did as he waited for Julian to come back. After the song ended, the DJ had said, "Alright. Something new for all you Californian's. Take a listen!"

Then Dom heard a familiar song play. It was his. He screamed out "What the fuck?!" In amazement and then Julian appeared behind him. He tapped on Dom's shoulder and Dom spun around.

Dom's eyes lit up, "You didn't."

Julian shrugged and smiled to play it off. "If you want me to dance, I'll dance to you, with you."

Dom looked like he could cry, but instead he just kept the smile painted on his face and jumped around with Julian to the song, California.

Later that night Dom went to the bar for his sixth beer of the night. He was buzzed, but not drunk at this point. He was fine with that. After he ordered from the bar tender, he felt a tap on his arm. He turned expecting it to be Julian, but it was someone he didn't recognize.

A woman smiled at him and moved closer. "Mind if I ask your name?" She asked Dom.

Dom smiled nervously, "Dom."

"I'm Rebecca. I was watching you on that dance floor. You have moves and your energy is insane." She moved in closer so her shoulder was touching his.

Dom swept his hands through his hair to discreetly remove himself from them being so close, "Thank you so much."

"You have an accent." Rebecca noted, "Where are you from?"

Dom chuckled, "Doncaster, in Northern England."

"It's hot." Rebecca turned  to face Dom better. She batted her eyelashes at him and he blushed.  He didn't want to be mean, but he could see where this was going. Though he was flattered, he was not interested. He stopped looking at Rebecca and instead started searching his eyes around the bar for Julian.

"Dom." Rebecca began, "I don't normally do stuff like this, but do you maybe want to get out of here?" She moved into Dom a little more. She gazed up at him, waiting for him to respond.

Then before Dom could even respond, Julian came up in front of both of them, and Dom shouted out, "BABY!" and pulled Julian close to him.

Julian giggled but quickly composed himself. "Hey. Did you get what you needed, Babe?" Julian made sure to emphasize that.

Rebecca backed up from Dom. Shock covered her face. "Wait. You two are... together?"

Julian hesitated, but Dom was the one who answered, "You mean, is he my boyfriend?"

She just stared at them, then Dom grabbed hold of Julian and planted a huge kiss right on his lips.

"Does that confirm your theory, Bec-ca?" Dom scrunched his nose and smiled at her.

Rebecca rolled her eyes and walked away.

"You wanna get out of here?" Dom asked a dumbfounded Julian. Julian was not used to any of this at all still.

He nodded and Dom chuckled. They walked out together. Once the cool air hit Julian he came back to reality, "Wait! So I am your boyfriend?"

Dom chuckled again, "Who else am I trying to call baby around here? You don't get that for free."

Julian stopped walking and looked at Dom like he wasn't believing that for a second.

Dom smiled, "Alright. Alright, but yours is special. You're my boyfriend then."

Hearing those words made Julian feel like collapsing. He couldn't believe this was honestly real life right now.
