Julian realized he had plastered himself to the wall long enough after being so starstruck. He decided to pick himself up and make his way back to Kara. When he was making his way to the dance floor he noticed Kara found a new guy to dance with and it looked like they were having a pretty good time. Julian smirked and decided to sit himself down at the bar again.

He looked around the bar, wishing Dom would pop up again, but instead he ended up getting a face full of some girl that placed herself right in front of him. He stared at her, not speaking.

"You're cute." She complimented him. Her drunken smile was so obvious.

"Oh! Thank you!" Julian stated, caught off guard.

"What are you doing up here all alone?" She purred.

"Uhh..." Julian's eyes were darting around the room.

"Are you waiting for your girlfriend?" She asked, her eyes never leaving him.

"Oh!" He laughed nervously, "Uh, no. I'm just-"

But before he could finish his sentence, the woman grabbed him and led the way to the dance floor. Julian watched as her blonde, wavy hair bounced around as she excitedly made her way into the crowd. His hand occupied by hers.

She turned around and began to dance with him. He was a little stiff at first, but slowly let her take most of the control. He wasn't sure how to be, so he just watched other men dancing with women in the bar to quickly learn some tips. Dancing with Kara was different. She was his bestfriend who knew his secret, but these people didn't. He was comfortable with Kara, not with all these strangers.

His eyes ultimately landed on Kara dancing with the same guy as before and he watched as the guy had himself up against Kara and his hands on her hips.

Julian did the same to this woman in front of him, and he felt entirely too uncomfortable, but didn't want to show it. He was hoping he was doing a good job at pretending to enjoy this dance.

The girl turned around to face him, her eyes were a bright blue, with glittery eye shadow surrounding them.

"What's your name, cutie?", She asked him, continuing to press her body into his as she danced.

"Julian." He answered, hoping she couldn't hear the displeasure in his voice. "Yours?"

"Jackie." She batted her eyelashes and placed her arms around his neck.

As Jackie continued to try to talk to Julian, he couldn't help but not pay much attention as he was trying to somehow get Kara's attention. He was hoping his pleading inside to be saved would somehow reach Kara by a miracle.

It seems it did, because he saw Kara lock her eyes to his and her smile faded. He watched as Kara said something to the guy she was dancing with and then made her way to him. He was feeling relieved already. Not that Jackie was a bad person or ugly or annoying. He just wasn't interested personally. Kara knew why and that's all he needed.

"HEEEEEY!" Kara shouted out, dramatically. Julian was trying to stifle his laughter. Jackie stopped dancing and speaking as she reverted her eyes to Kara.

"Julian, Babe. Are you ready to go then?" Kara winked with a smirk.

"Oh yeah. I forgot what time it even was." Julian looked at his phone as if to check the time. "It was nice meeting you Jackie, but I've got to go. Have a good rest of your night!" He put his phone back in his pocket and before he was able to turn and leave, he felt a pair of hands grab his face and kiss him.

Oh god, he thought to himself. Jackie's lips left his a few moments later and she said, "I hope to see you again, Julian."

He gave her a half smile and waved. Kara grabbed his wrist and they stumbled their way out of the bar. As soon as they both got out into the cool breeze, Julian placed his back against the building and breathed in the cool, fresh air.
