Prologue- An offer they can't refuse

(Ozpin's P.O.V.)

With Glynda by my side, I stopped before a door. Entering in the code the door opened and I stepped inside. Walking down another hall, I stopped before the door once again, and entered in another code.

"Are you sure this is a good idea? I mean, what if he-" Glynda started.

"He won't do anything." I defended. "I hope."

Stepping in a child like voice hit our ears.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the the Magical Oz. It's been a long, long time, you should stop by more often!"

Standing behind a glass wall, was a boy, seeming to be no older than 10. He had messy black hair that reached passed his shoulders down to his mid back, had a violet shade to it. He had one red eye to his right, his left was a light shade of gold. He wore a white jumpsuit making his hair stand out more. However the suit had stains of red on it around the arms and legs, seeming like it was smudged in there as they walked around.

The room around his was a shade of white. A bed stuck in the corner and a table set on the opposite side. Besides that there was nothing in his room.

"Did you bring the books I asked for, or the chess set, it gets rather dull when you have nothing to do for ETERNITY!" The boy shouted the last word with so much venom he spat on the glass threat separated him from us. His eyes then slid over to the blond by my side. "Oh, you brought the Wicked Witch of the West with you, hi." He tilted his head and smiled innocently.

"Lupin-" I started.

"Stop you right there Ozzy," the boy said, holding up a hand. "Let me guess," he looked at me his eyes hardening, his face draining of all emotions as he looked at me. "You need me to do something for you." He then fake pouted. "You never come to simply visit me like old times." The boy sighed. "I see nothing has changed."

"I came to you with an offer." I explained.

"Ooh?" The boy said raising an eyebrow.

"I will let you out of here." I said gesturing to the glass in between the two of us.

"Is this a treat, because I don't see a trap." The boy said narrowing his eyes. "Where's the string Oz? Because I know there is one."

"You will be attending Beacon Academy." I said simply.

The boy stared at me before he burst out laughing. "Oh, Ozzy," he wiped his eyes. "Is there something in that drink of yours because I think it's drugs." He bent over laughing before he fell over. "Really now Ozzy, are you going to try and train me to be your dog again? Because I'm sick of following your orders!" He shouted the second part of his sentence.

"Would you rather stay in here?" I asked. In a flash, the boy was slamming his fist against the glass growling.

"Your the reason I'm here!" He shouted. "I took the fall for you! And you repay me by leaving me in here!"

"I'm offering you a chance to get out." I said calmly. I then turned. "But I won't force you to."

"Do we really need him, sir?" Glynda asked as we started out.

"Do you think I'm stupid Oz?" The young boy asked as we looked back. "Because I know, there's more that your not telling me." I said nothing and looked him in the eyes. "I have some conditions."

"And those are?" Glynda asked.

"Don't order me around Ozzy, and if I see or even think that it's a repeat, I'll kill you, and be on my way to freedom." He said growling.

"I won't let you kill me so easily." I warned.

The boy scoffed and rolled his eyes. "And I won't be ordered as easily as in the past."

"Very well." I agreed. "However," The boy narrowed his eyes as I added. "You will not harm the other students. If you do, you will be sent back, here."

"But, Sir!" Glynda warned.

"Awe, witchy, come now, you'll be single soon. Because I know Ozzy, can't resist me." The boy teased smirking. "We have a deal Ozzyboy."
