Reasons Why....
"Professor Oobleck?" Weiss asked being the first to break out of her stupor.
"Yes, I'm afraid those bags won't be necessary girls, and Lupin. Seeing as you've opted to shadow a huntsman On what is now essentially a reconnaissance mission" Oobleck began pacing back and forth in front of the five. "I can assure you we will not be establishing a single base of operations Rather we will be traversing several miles of hazardous wasteland and making camp in any defensible locations we may stumble upon, I've packed all of our essentials myself provided the air course and readied the airship. AND-" He got in Weiss's face. "- it's Dr. Oobleck. I didn't earn a PhD for fun thank you very much!"
"Uhhhh...." Weiss started glancing over to Blake.
Lupin hung his head. "He's one of those...."
"Come now children, according to my schedule we are already 3 minutes behind schedule." He then dashed off.
"I can't do it... Why did it have to be him." Lupin grumbled.
"Well alright then looks like we're going to save the world Dr. Oobleck.... okay yeah weh you way it out loud it sounds worse." Ruby said lowering her head.
"Save the world?!" Someone shouted making the group look back to see team JNPR walking towards them. "You're going on World-Saving missions without us?!"Nora complained. "I'm hurt and sad! Maybe a little hungry? That last one's not my fault though, Ren." She narrowed her eyes at the boy by her side. Who looked away and crossed his arms.
"Well, I've gone on world saving missions without any of you, so......" Lupin admitted shrugging.
"Sounds Exciting, where are ya going?" Jaune sked setting his hands on her hips.
"Oh, just outside the kingdom." Ruby said shrugging.
"Hey! So are we!" Nora said excited.
"Ren and Nora wanted tos hadow the sheriff of a nearby village." Pyrah said smiling.
"We set out tomorrow." Ren agreed.
"If it's a man by the name of Akira, tell him I say hi, and I hope his wife is feeling better." Lupin said smiling. "And if he became sherif tell him I'm happy he was promoted from deputy."
"How do you know so many people?" Ruby asked curiously.
"I get around." Lupin chuckled smiling.
"Then you can party with us tonight." Neptune and Sun said coming over. "We're shadowing a crime specialist. All inner-city detective stuff. We get junior badges."
Jaune looked over with stars in his eyes., While Lupin scowled.
"Laaaaammmmmmmeeeee." Lupin drolled throwing his head back. "Ugh! If it's Picard, tell Picky he's going to have to wait on his donuts."
"How?!" Ruby repeated exasperated.
"We normally go to the city with you guys, which means stuff's always exploding and junk." Sun cut in. "So we thought this might be a better way to check out the kingdom when it's, y'know, normal."
"Well...." Ruby started.
"Four minutes children!" Oobleck shouted from the ship.
Everyone gave tense smiles, save for Lupin who glared daggers at the ship before him.
"Well, uh... wish us luck." Ruby said throwing a thumbs up to the group.
The group separated, Team RWBY, and the Lone Wolf towards the ship, the others heading back towards Beacon.
