Chapter 8

The Epic War... Of Food

Lupin was sitting at the table with his food, across from team RWBY. When Ruby entered in with a binder of notes, and dropped it onto the table.

Crossed out on top was Vytal Festival Activities- Property of Weiss Schnee.

And instead was written in bold red marker was Best Day Ever Activities!

Ruby then cleared her throat. "Sisters! Friends! Weiss." Ruby started.

"Hey!" Weiss called annoyed.

"For score and seven minutes ago, I had a dream." Ruby continued.

"This oughta be good." Yang grinned before turning back and catching another piece of food tossed to her by Nora.

"A dream that one day, the four of us would come together, as a team and have the most fun anyone has ever had, ever!" Ruby finished.

"Did you seal my binder?" Weiss ordered pointing at the large amount of notes.

"I am not a crook." Ruby countered holding her hands up in peace.

"What are you talking about?" Blake asked confused.

"I'm talking about kicking this semester off with a bang!" Ruby said grinning in excitement.

"I always kick my semesters off with a Yang." The blond said holding her hand up with a grin. "Ehh? Guys? Am I right?" However as she looked around at the table, she was hit in the nose by a tomato.

"BOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" Nora screamed.

"Look guys, it's been a good two weeks and between more exchange students and the tournament at the end of the year. Our second Semester is going to be great! But classes start back up tomorrow." Ruby then looked between the Lone Wolf and the rest of RWBY. "Which is why I've taken the time to schedule a series of wonderful events for us today!" Ruby gestured to the binder on the table.

"I don't know whether I should be proud or scared of what you have in store." Weiss said looking between the girl in the red cloak and the binder on the table.

"I'd say frightened." Lupin said looking at the binder.

Yang proceeded to stand up and chuckle an apple across the table, only for Nora to once again 'Booo.'.

"I don't know, but I think might sit this one out." Blake said looking over at Weiss.

"Sit out or not, I think however we spend this last day we should do it as a team." Weiss said.

"I got it!" Nora suddenly shouted, and Yang started waving her hands in a no motion.

"I for one think that-" Weiss started only for her to get smacked in the face by a batch of flying mashed potatoes.

Spinning around, Lupin saw team JNPR. Nora pointed to Ren who sat shielding his face with his hand. Pyra looked horrified but also trying to hide her laughter. While Jaune held onto his cheek in another seen of fear.

However this led to Yang chucking another batch of food, and more food being thrown. And at some point Jaune was picked up and chucked across the room into the window.

Seeing things were picking up, Lupin easily jumped up into the rafters, to avoid the onslaught of fearful students quickly exiting the room.

Sitting with his legs crossed he watched the two teams food fight it out.

Watermelon bombs were thrown, Yang was punching people out with turkeys on her hands, Ren used Leaks for knives. Bread was used as swords.

It must have been pretty stale for it to survive combat.

(Hang on, is that... By the gods.. .That's a whole swordfish... why is that in our cafeteria?!') Lupin thought sitting up watching as Weiss attacked with it.

Blake fought it out with bread and a rather long rope of sausages.

There was a loud crash behind the violet haired boy leading him to look behind himself and find a large hole in the roof, and Yang missing.

There was another crash as Weiss was thrown into the wall and it came crashing down. Luckily Ruby grabbed the Shnee before she could get crushed by the collapsing wall.

Blake was next to be taken out by Pyra and her soda can attack.

With Ruby the last one standing, she charged with her unbelievable speed, taking all food and trash with her. As well as the opposing team. Smashing them into the walls, Ruby jumped up the rafters and watched as they were hit with everything she brought with her. Landing before the now broken wall messed with the four bodies, as well as colors of soda and food.

Landing next to the red/black haired girl, Lupin tapped his chin in thought. "Hmmm.... Very nice execution, and wonderful colors. I'd say it's a masterpiece for the ages!"

The four bodies then collapsed to the ground.

The sound of doors slamming open, and angered foot taps, the two looked back to see an angered Glinda Goodwitch walking in.

Smirking, Lupin picked up a leftover plate of food and chucked it at the woman, only for her to hold out a hand and stop it from making contact with her. Shooting him a glare, Glinda waved her wand and set the cafeteria back in order.

She then adjusted her glasses with her finger. "Children... please do not play with your food!"

"But witchy! It's fun!" Lupin argued only for the woman to shoot him a glare.

As if on cue, Yang came crashing through the roof and landed on one of the fixed tables. Leading to the group laughing.

(Ok, I officially remember why I wanted to get out. This is the best day ever.) Lupin thought laughing. (I'll miss this when it's all over.)

Hello!

I would have wrote the whole food fight scene, but I'm pretty sure we all remember and love this episode of the show. It is mine at least.

And if you haven't seen this episode, watch it, I LOVE the food fight. On top of that, I know if I were to try writing it all out, I would mess it all up.

But seriously I love that episode. Go just watch the food fight because it's awesome.

I've made an executive choice, for not only my own sanity, but for your reading pleasure....
I'm destroying my previous posting schedule. Because I can't seem to keep with it,
And instead, just... Going to try and post once a week.
There's still a chance that it will simply still be Monday, but... If I miss it, I won't be upset at myself for missing it, and I can just post it then.
