First Mission?
Lupin stood in RWBY's room, seated by the window, scroll in hand. The only thing appearing on it, was the message.
Large Dust Movement, Towards the Southeast
Suddenly the door opened, and Yang, Weiss, and Blake pounced on Ruby who entered.
"What happened?!" Yang ordered.
"Uh, well, Umm, ehehehe, uh..." Ruby started.
"So, little Red Riding Hood got in trouble, ooo, bad girl, what's grandma going to say?" Lupin teased looking over.
Ruby then began to explain how they questioned her on what happened the night before, how someone broke into the Communication Tower, and how she let it slip that the woman's hideout was in the southeast.
"Well that was a risky move!" Weiss argued.
"No, I think you handled it well." Blake agreed.
"I hope so." Ruby muttered.
"I'm sure everything will be alright, Ruby." Yang said setting a hand on her shoulder.
"Mmm, it should, but Ozzy's pretty intelligent." Lupin said laying across Yang's bed, his hair splayed around him as he looked upside down. "But he's not going to stop you. Not since you four are his favorite students, and because you four are hunter/huntress prodigies."
"Lupin, we're trying to cheer her up!" Weiss said whirling around to look at the black and purple haired boy.
"I am." Lupin countered. "And I'm being honest."
"Anyway." Yang started. "I know what will cheer you up." Yang turned and walked over to something on the desk.
"What's that?" Ruby asked confused.
"I don't know yet. Dad sent it to us." Yang said picking up a long cylinder container. "I thought we could open it together."
"Ooooh! Something from home!" Ruby squealed. She then disappeared and reappeared behind Yang, leaving a trail of rose petals in her wake. She then waved her arms around trying to grab ahold of the container.
Shaking the container once, Yang made a long black cylinder come out of the holder, and land on the floor with a thunk. Said black item moved once, twice, then a third.
This caught the black and violet haried boy's attention making him sit up. "What-" He started only for it to POP and change shape into a long black, and white dog. "Huh?!"
Yang, Blake, Weiss, Ruby and Lupin leaned in close to it. It barked twice.
They cried and jumped back, two in enjoyment, three in shock.
"ZZZZZWWWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!" Ruby cheered in joy.
"He sent a dog?!" Blake ordered in annoyance.
"In the mail!" Weiss added.
"And it didn't die!" Lupin added on just as shocked.
Ruby giggled hugging said pooch in happiness.
"Oh he does stuff like this all the time." Yang shrugged as the younger sibling was licked by the dog.
"Your father or your dog?" Blake asked from up on Ruby's bed.
"I missed yoooouuuuuu!" Ruby cheered hugging the dog closer.
"Are you telling me that this mangy..." Weiss started leaning closer to the dog, only for him to roll over slightly to look at her. "Drooling..." The dog began panting. "Mutt, is going to wive with us forevah?"
