Chapter 18

Breach of Grimm

Lupin looked around at the large number of Grimm stalking around, biting his tongue to keep himself quiet as he watched all the Grim surround team RWBY. The large snake Grimm let out a Roar and the smaller grim charged in.

Ruby jumped down slamming her scythe into the ground before spinning around and running on the stomachs of the Grimm causing them to be thrown away.

Yang jumped onto the head of a Grimm before throwing herself away blasting as many bullets at the grimm throwing herself up into the air. However in came a batch of Grimm birds grabbing at her before throwing her towards the ground and she landed with a loud THUMP.

Blake and Weiss stayed where they were, attacking with their swords against as many grimm that came at them. Blake stabbed her one sword through the jaw of the Grimm before she knelt and fired off a batch of bullets at some nearby grimm. Weiss blasted some away with her ice gliff.

Lupin smirked and took a deep breath. "Alright.... Here we go..." Lupin cracked his neck before running forward.

Lupin disappeared into a batch of rainbow smoke before landing on top of the Cobra surprising Ruby who ended up before it.

Lupin's claws dug into the head of the cobra. It let out a hiss and began to throw his head around trying to get him off. Lupin however didn't let go, he held on and grit his teeth.

"GO DOWN!" Lupin hissed his eyes glowing as electricity traveled down his arms and began to shock the Grimm. The grimm however didn't collapse yet, and began to shake harder. "DIE ALREADY!" He shouted electricity sparking more.

Suddenly there was an explosion in the distance.

"NORA SMASH!"

A hammer came down just before Lupin's body, and the violet haired boy gasp, and disappeared before reappearing before a snake's head was smashed against the ground by a girl in pink with a large Hammer.

Nora jumped back and watched as the snake didn't more. Jaune, Ren, and Pyra landed beside the girl in pink.

"Watch it." Lupin muttered disappearing and reappearing above a Beowolf, before landing and smashing his claws into the wolf's head.

Landing on top of it Lupin spun around and fired off his claws into the body of a nearby Grimm Ursa and yanked him over to Lupin who backflipped over it and his claw retracted so Lupin could land on top and stab his free claw into the head of the ursa.

Lupin turned ready to attack only to spot Sun and Neptune.

"Nobody Move!" Sun said holding up his badge. "Junior Detective!"

"We've got badges, so you know it's official." Neptune agreed.

They fistbumped and Lupin rolled his eyes.

"Uh, sure, yeah, but uh... do you detectives have your weapons because we could use some-" Lupin stopped as the sound of a craft came and he looked up to see an Atlas ship come over. "....Help...."

The guns fired and helped Ruby who was going to be sneak attacked by a Grimm Ursa.

The robots came jumping out of the ships and began trying to help them take them down.

Lupin scowled before running forward and smashing his claws into one of the Grimm heads of a nearby Boarobusk causing it to fall to its side.

Spinning around Lupin kicked another attacking Grimm, before swinging his arm over in a spin he stabbed the one he kicked before firing off another claw and dragging it over to him allowing him to remove his first claw and bring it into the grimm he dragged over.

Lupin spun in time to see Emerald taking down a large Grimm Ursa. Nodding to her Lupin ran off before disappearing and reappearing up in the air. Firing off his claws they stabbed a flying Nevermore, and finished dragging him the rest of the way up. Once again he appeared on the back of it and he stabbed his claws onto the sides of the body near the wings causing it to crash into the ground. Disappearing as it landed Lupin landed on the ground and watched at the grimm rammed into the side of the building.

Lupin turned hearing what sounded like to be explosions, in time to watch Coco's purse transform into a machine gun and was firing at a Death Stalker, as well as taking down three in flight Grimm Nevermores.

"Well now..... I think I'm in love." Lupin said smirking. Lupin laughed.

"Somehow," Lupin turned at the voice and saw Glinda marching by and pointing her Crop Whip at her. "This has your name written all over it."

"I don't know what you mean." Lupin said smiling and shrugging.

She then pointed her Crop Whip at the ground and the broken pieces of the roadway came and fixed the ground. "I want an explanation from you."  Glinda said pointing annoyed.

"Whatever Witchy." Lupin rolled his eyes.

Team RWBY, Lupin, JNPR, and CFVY stood in a large circle grinning at each other, while Emerald, and Mercury walked Turtwig over to a two robots.

"Oh, I can't believe that you caught me. You've really taught me the error of my ways." Turtwig said shrugging. The robots began to take the orange haired male away. "Hey, hey! Watch the Hat!"

"Hey Twig!" Lupin called making the robots stop and look over at Lupin. Turtwig looking back too. "If you somehow manage to escape, I'd like to never see that ugly hat of yours again."

"It's a fabulous hat." Turtwig argued as he was dragged away.

The group did their victory motions, but Lupin rolled his eyes with a small smirk on his face.

Lupin let out a quiet groan as he stepped out of Beacon stretching his arms over his head.

"I don't know HOW I got blamed for all that." Lupin muttered steachign similar to a cat.

"Oh, Lupin!" A voice called making the violet haired boy look over to find team RWBY.

"Red, Black, Yellow, Ice Princess." Lupin greated, dropping his arms down to his sides. "How can I help you lovely ladies?"

"Well, I wanted to thank you, for your help." Ruby said smiling.

"Whatever for?" Lupin asked tilting his head with a smile. "I simply was doing what a Hunter would do. Helping those in need." He then put a finger to his lips. "Don't go spreading that around though." he then laughed and crossed his arms behind his back. "Though do, do me a favor, make sure to call me first if you need help again. It was fun. Ok Red?"

"Of course." Ruby agreed.

"You were a great help Lupin." Weiss agreed.

"You'll have to tell us where you learned to fight like that." Blake added. "Because I've never seen skills like that before."

Lupin laughed. "I grew up fighting like that. That's all."

"Grew up, where?" Ruby asked confused.

Lupin shook his head. "Not going  into that. It's in the past, and I'd like it to stay there." Lupin then smirked. "So, which of you lucky ladies shall come with me to bed?"

"NO!" Three of the four girls shouted, Yang covering Ruby's ears, and Lupin laughed.

"Night, Ladies." Lupin bowed before walking away.

Lupin walked up a set of stairs before he stopped before a window and watched the sunset over the city.

"Ozpin," Lupin muttered. "What is your plan now?" Lupin's eyes began to glow as Hazel and Jay appeared by his sides. "They won't listen to you now, and people are beginning to question your intelligence." Lupin smirked. "Now is the time for me to start making my move, yes?"

"Yes." Multiple voices agreed. "Avenge us, Lupin."
