When They have Heart and Money

You might have definitely wondered about what love is like even when you have already felt it. There was love before you were born. It is there even after you die. But while you live, it makes you long for itself. Waits for you to suffer heartbreaks and makes you wise.

I walked down the road to my workplace, "Another cup" in my black pumps. If you guessed it a coffee shop you're right. If something else, nope. It was hard enough to get a job at a place like this but thanks to my one and only friend Anna, who helped me get here. The place was well furnished with chairs, tables and light decorations hanging down the ceilings. Frames adorned the walls. All the colours your eyes could determine correctly were shades of coffee, cream and brown. These were the things that I had noticed when I first walked in the place. After a while, I got interested in a large board that hung on the smallest wall in the cafe on which anyone could write whatever their heart desired.

As I entered in through the door, the same intoxicating aroma hit my nostrils. Immediately after, the bell chimed sweetly as if welcoming me. I greeted morning to Anna who was already engaged in serving to customers.

Anna was a very sweet woman and I was thankful to God for having someone like her in my life.

Atleast there's someone around.

"Why the sour mood though?" I asked her as she stood with cross hands.

"How dare he tell me the coffee is not nice again!! It's the fourth cup in a row he asked to change. I'm not gonna spare any penny for the wasted ones to him!"

"Calm down. It's not like this is our first time. It's okay."

"Okay!? I'll run broke by the end of the day if I let him and his kind walk away like that."

"Alright I'll just handle this one and be back yeah?" She did a hmph as a yes.

I brewed the coffee and walked towards the person sitting at the corner window.

"Your coffee sir." His head rose up, looking at my figure, then my face and the coffee in my hands. He grabbed the cup and took a sip, revealing an expression of satisfaction which brought a smile on my face too.

"Problem solved?" Anna's eyes grew big. She was cute. My beaming smile answered her in positive and her eyes grew wider in amazement.

"Whoa you're definitely something. After all this place seems lively after you joined."

"It has stayed the same."

She chuckled," Ofcourse. Same as ever." So that was a mock from her.

She soon recieved a call and went out to attend it. Moments later she appeared, her expression changed.

"What is it you want now?" I asked her wiggling my eyebrows.

"Umm... George has asked me out and.."

"Oh my God Anna that's really awesome! Congratulations!"

"Thanks bebe but..."

"Isn't that what you wanted?"

"Yeah but the work.."

"Shoo shoo! just leave and I can manage here!"

"Are you sure??" she asked.

"Ofcourse. Goooo now."

"Oh God thank you Stee you're the best!"

She jumped to hug me and my body jerked back as she took me in a hug, taking me by surprise.

"Whoa save that for your date."

"Ofcourse ofcourse." she said. "Bye."

"Bye. And have fun." I felt myself smiling as she exited the door.
