"I'm like the twilight, Rose. A combination of light and dark.
You shouldn't trust me" Jae said, holding her hands.
"Yes. But that's what makes twilight the most beautiful time in the day, Jae. I love the way you are, and I shall always trust you" Rose whispered, holding her tears back. Jae smiled reluctantly and turned back and walked away.
"CUT!" Director Bo exclaimed before leaning back in his chair. "What a dialogue, Mr. Cha" addressing to the scriptwriter, he stressed on his remark again, "What a dialogue!"
Mr. Cha smiled while Taehyung looked down, clenching his fists.
"Hey lad! Since when were you allowed inside the set huh?" Actor Jae mocked Taehyung, approaching him.
Taehyung slightly bowed to the actor without giving eye contact, and left with an 'Excuse me'.
Kim Taehyung is an assistant script writer working for South Korean productions in Seoul. A highly talented and genuine employee, yet highly disregarded by the company's staff.
"Hey, Tae!" Hoseok gave Taehyung a push on the shoulder from behind. "I'm sorry for what happened. I know that Mr. Cha claimed your dialogues as his own. But we can't do anything about it"
Jung Hoseok is the lead cameraman in the company who introduced Tae to the manager not five months ago. He was Tae's classmate in High school, and the only one friendly to him in the company.
"I'm used to it, Hobi. This is the job I've chosen, and I must accept whatever it gives me in return" Tae said convincingly despite wondering himself if he should quit the job soon.
"Can you please inform the manager that I'm leaving for the day?" he asked while tying his shoe lace.
"Sure, Tae" Hoseok assured, staring at Tae's shoes, and added "I'm surprised you're still holding onto those shoes"
"Well, yeah. Sentiment. It's the only expensive thing left with me"
After he got up, Hobi asked "Are you...still on drugs?"
Tae threw a look at him and Hobi smiled dramatically.
"See you later, Hobi" he said, and left.
Tae took a bus home. While passing from a familiar restaurant, the memory of his part time job over there crossed him.
"Taehyung can you continue during my shift as well? I have plans for the next hour" said Park Joon, Tae's coworker, and left even before Tae could nod.
Tae took a glimpse of his black Rolex watch, not really to see the time, but irony of the situation.
He approached a table occupied by a couple. After taking their order, he headed to the kitchen. But their voices still reached him.
"He's cute, isn't he?" the lady at the table whispered to her man.
"Seriously? Now I'm afraid to take you to restaurants, Rachel" the man replied. Tae didn't stop at their words, and continued on his way.
"I wish I had your looks. Then I'd love my job as a waiter" a coworker said to Tae in the kitchen.
