Four months later...
The glass buildings in Seoul appeared brand new, being cleansed by a heavy rain the night before. Water puddles adorned the roads, and an earthy scent hid in the air.
Taehyung walked out of his house in a suit. He glanced at the sky before taking another step. 'Its as clear as an ocean' he thought, slightly squinting his eyes from the glare.
It was a big day in his life. And he knew it.
The company car arrived to pick him up, but he denied the service and headed to the bus stand.
When he entered the bus, the driver recognised him and gave a slight bow. Tae returned it, and took a seat. More specifically, a window seat.
A teenager from the other corner approached him, expecting an autograph. After signing on her book, he noticed that he wrote 'V' under his name, habituated to using that as a pen name when he was a poet. He looked at the girl with a regretful face. However, she beamed happily and took the book.
At the success meet of Set me free
On the stage, Mr. Bo, Jin, So Ra, and Tae sat beside eachother on individual chairs .
"How do you feel about the success of Set Me Free?" the interviewer questioned Mr. Bo
"I am happy that the movie turned out well. Making of this film has been a rough one. As everyone already knows, many unbelievable things were discovered during the process. In fact, we even considered postponing working on this film."
"Personally, I had to face a lot of pressure from both public and dear ones, being a close associate to Mr. Cha and Chan Woo. We even wondered if people would watch the movie after knowing about our company's background issues. A really bad image was created about us afterall."
The interviewer reciprocated, while Mr. Bo continued "But despite all this, the only reason I'd say the movie played, is because of Kim Taehyung. After people came to know that he was the one who wrote the script for Persona, they looked forward to watch the movie that he worked for. His fans revealed that he was the poet known 'V' whose works became famous few years back.
In that way, many started buying his old books and showed interest in his current profession.
And just as they expected from his movie, it turned out great. All thanks to him again" Mr. Bo gestured towards Tae, and Tae gave a bow to him.
"Yes. People are indeed looking forward to his new films"
"The rumors are true. You're certainly more handsome in person than on the screen" The lady interviewer joked, addressing to Tae. Tae pretended a smile.
"You've become more popular after enacting a role in this movie. Are you planning to continue acting in the future as well?" she asked
"Not really. That's the last. I don't plan on acting further"
"Then what about directing?" Mr. Bo joined "You helped me in Chan Woo's place when he was no longer the assistant director. And I think you're quite fit for the job. You should try directing a film someday, Kim Taehyung"
"Surely, sir" Tae nodded.
"I heard this is your second movie, Mr. Taehyung. How did you feel working for SK Productions?" the interviewer asked.
"Umm...well, the journey throughout this movie has been an unforgettable one for me. It was both hectic and wonderful at the same time. I came to bond with lovely people in this journey" he glanced at So Ra, who smiled back. "I'm glad the movie turned out well. It did bear us the fruits of our effort"
