Welcome to Don't Forget Me, I have no idea if I'll end up finishing this book or even if it will see the light of day. But hey gotta keep positive.
If you are reading this then clearly I have succeeded in some way. All I can say is please give the book a try. I may not be the most renound writer on Wattpad but I love what I do write and I think that's enough to make my writing pretty ok.
So before you get started here's a bit of background on the book:
1. It is based in the UK- I am British and so obviously I know more about British schooling etc, basing the book in UK just makes writing that little bit easier.
2. None of the characters are actual people- If there's someone famous with the same name as one of my characters that's by complete fluke. All of my characters have been created using my pea brain and random name generators.
3. Some of the characters are inspired by people I know- This is isn't particularly important but I think it's interesting to know. A few of my main characters are inspired by some of my friends but they don't have the same names and aren't entirely the same.
4. The cover- my fabulous cover is done by the very talented phoebeconrey and it's my favourite cover I've ever had made. So if you're an author looking for a cover go over to her page.
Anyway, I think that's about it.
Finally (although I'd doubt this would ever happen to my work) please, please, please do not copy my writing (or anyone else's). Writing a book is hard enough so I can only imagine how gutting it would be to discover someone is stealing characters or whole plots from your work. My story is copyrighted through the use of Wattpad so please... just don't.
I hope you enjoy whatever this book becomes and continue to stick with the characters and see how they grow.
