Today is Monday, here starts my monotonous life for the next four days. I'm on my way to the office. Twenty more minutes and I'll be sitting in my cubicle staring at the screen for the rest of the day. Well to be honest, I don't hate my job or something but I need something different adventurous things to do too. Doing the same thing everyday makes you easily bored and a little lazy to be honest.

I don't know why Jayd acts a little weird. I have to find out what she's trying to hide from me.

I reached my office, to find my day getting hectic. My department got a new project, and it resulted in me doing more hours of work than in the last two years. Huff!!

Finally, came the lunch break, I decided to meet Rachael, she is a good friend of mine and guess what, she happened to be in the coolest department of all time. She can always play with the babies and take care of them while I'm stuck with the computers. We both came the same day for the interview and got clicked. Whenever I'm too busy or stressed, I'll go and meet her just to play with the babies. Maybe I should have taken up a job like hers instead of dealing with these electronic gadgets.

I went into the day care unit to find it packed with babies. The office staffs generally let their babies stay here when there is no one at home, so it's like a second home for those babies, they usually grow here. Day after day, they spend their time here. Our CEO made a special inclusion that the kids in the school are picked up and taken care till the parent is working. So the working parents won't be constantly worried about their children. The whole floor is allocated for this unit and a cafeteria. Sometimes people like me come here and spend their time and even volunteer to take care of the babies at-least whenever they get a free time.

I found Rachael cooing a baby who looks so stubborn and cries a lot, I went near him and made funny faces to distract the baby which actually helped and allowed her feed him. Then she let the baby sleep in his bassinet.

"You guys got a new project?", I just nodded to her question.

"It explains why you are here", she smirked. I stuck my tongue out to her and we walk along many cribs to find some babies sleep and some other playing with their dolls. One baby at a far end caught my attention. She is standing with the support of the rails. She is smiling at me. She is literally smiling at me which showcases her cute dimples on both of her cheeks and her erupting front teeth. When we came to stand near her, she lifted her one hand towards me while her other hand is clutching the rail of the crib.

"Looks like some one wants you to lift them", she wiggled her eyebrows at me, while I stand there looking at the cutest little baby who is smiling at me.

I lifted her while she smiled even more if it's possible. She is wearing a cute little white frock with full sleeves along with a big blue colored bow at the side. It matches her blue shoes. Her mother would've dressed her with utmost care.

"She looks so cute!!", "Right!! She came to the Unit today. I think her father is new here, he dropped her here in the morning. He didn't leave the place without bombarding us with the questions and finally asking us to take care of her". "Right! Some fathers can be over-protective. Mine? Didn't leave me in the school on my first day. He was standing there watching me until the teacher pleaded him to leave", I said and we laughed. "Ya!! My pops asked me not to go to the school and stay with him to play tea party. Fathers are little idiotic and childish when it comes to their baby girls", she was going on with her story, while I went into the oblivion thinking about my Dad. Ohw! I miss them.

"Cami?.. Cami!!", she was waving her hands in front of me and the baby is touching my cheeks, I looked down at her "What's her name?", I tried to change the topic before Rach tries to give a pitiful look of me. "I don't know, she's new right!? I'll check her chart and let you know later". Well my trick worked. I smiled at her. At-times, I like the way how she forgets like Dori from NEMO.

I started talking with this little bundle of cuteness while she smiled and tried replying me by making sounds and shaking her hands like narrating some sort of story. Aww!!

"You know?", she started and paused looking around to check whether any one is there to hear us, "What?.. Go on..", I made her to continue. "You haven't seen her father, he looks so hot! If I'm not in a relationship right now, I'll surely like to date the guy. How much ever he is irritating when it comes to his little girl, He is hawt" she said with a twinkle in her eyes.

"Seriously Rach, he is married and is a father to a baby. You wanna date him? Seriously ? I'm gonna tell this to Rob, when I see him the next time", she widened her eyes at me, "you won't! If you did, he will surely get possesive and I hate when he does the possessive shit", she started blabbering "You know? I love him, but I don't like the possessive things he does, It is like I wanna be with him but I don't wanna be. I don't know! He is confusing me a hell lot!!", she saw me trying to control my outbreak, I started laughing the moment she saw me, "I'm sorry, I can't control it. I was just kidding. You know?", she joined me laughing. Seeing us laughing, the little angel started to laugh too. "I'm gonna call her little angel until I know her name", I said to her. "Yah! Call her whatever you want to, her white frock suits her name though. Nice!", Rach replied to me.

Rachael got a phone call from her boyfriend, she surely not gonna end that call in a few, so I thought why not play with this cutie for a few minutes. I made an action of taking the baby outside for few minutes. Rach said no but after seeing my puppy face, she complied.

"You wanna go outside baby?", I asked her and she smiled and nodded her head. "Out! Out!", she chirped jumping.

Today as far, it went well. I can meet my baby girl in an hour during the lunch break. I left her in the Child unit this morning. The place was good but I don't know about the staffs! They are young hopefully they will take a good care of my daughter.I feel like a teenage boy waiting for the weekend, I want to be with my baby all the time. Sometimes, this life tires me out. She is my only getaway from this thoughts, I can play with her and forget everything.

After an hour,

"How can you be so careless? WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER?", my baby is missing from her crib. "How can you guys lose..", "We didn't lose your daughter Sir, just wait for a minute, your baby is out for a walk with a friend", a blonde girl said trying to calm my nerves but she doesn't understand, I can't calm without seeing my baby. "Okay! I'm not gonna let my baby stay here for one more day"."Please! Take your seat Sir", "I'll ask to bring your daughter back in a moment", an another girl hurried to me and said unaffected by my complaints.

She really is graceful, I would've admired for her patience but now I've got a serious matter in my hands. I want my baby back in my arms. NOW. She tried to contact someone but the person in the other end didn't pick the call. She tried one more time and saw my face. Her face showed a small amount of fear but she masked it with a professional smile.

"The person is not picking up the call, please be seated Sir, I'll go back and bring your daughter to you", she said and started walking faster towards the exit.I followed her to the outside and saw her rushing towards the stairs but turned around after checking the corner and she saw me. No. She saw someone behind me and her eyes brightened. I turned around and saw a woman holding a baby in her hands. She is pacifying the baby to sleep. That's when I saw the blue shoes and the dress. My Leah!!
