Surprise??

'Surprise?', What surprise can she give me at this moment. The biggest surprise or can I say a heart attack is that she is leaving this place. What more can she give me now?
She didn't even cringe at my shoutings! Maybe is that she is used to it?! Now I literally feel like a child in-front of her.

I resumed watching Frozen till she returned back in her pajamas. She went to the kitchen, filled up two plates of dinner and sat next to me, passing my plate, she started devouring her dinner.

"I can really get used to this pampering, sissy", she said with a content face. Her face was full of smiles from the moment she entered the home. "Are you forgetting something, Jayd?", I asked her with a calm expression. She looked at me as though she doesn't remember me shouting at her few minutes ago. "Seriously Jayd? Its past 11. What are your explanations?", I asked her really angry. She smiled at me sheepishly. "You didn't even pick my call. Atleast you should've texted me you schmuck", I ranted again. "I'm sorry, I didn't check my phone. I came as soon as my work got over, I was so busy so I didn't check my phone", she said a little flustered. I know her work ends by 6′o clock, maybe far before 6. I asked her, "And may I know what work took you so much of your precious little time?". She didn't reply me. She hesitated and stood up to fill her plate again.

But I stopped her, "Jayden, explain it to me, now!", I raised my voice. I know my little sister likes to go on sudden dates, I'm not against it. I've never been, but she should be open to me. Orelse, how will I be able to protect her!

She smiled again, "Can I tell that afterwards?", I looked at her blankly, "I really need some water now, I'll go and get it. And after that I'll explain it to you". Well, what can I say, I didn't say anything, I just watched her disappear into the kitchen. I know she will explain but I can't be forever patient right?

She brought a bottle of water and sat with her plate next to me. The TV is paused with the scene where Anna is locked in the room by Prince Hans. I was staring at the paused scene when she returned. "You know, you have to play to see the full movie", she said with a chuckle. I stared at her. "okay, okay!!", she inhaled deeply and kept her plate in the coffee table and held me with both of her hands. Is it just me or is she exaggerating it!

"I've to tell you, its time", she paused. "Time for what? I'm confused". "You have to call your friends over. No. No, you have to call all the people you know from your office and all your friends from college. Everyone should come. Even I'll call my friends over. Its been a really long time since we threw a party. The last time was when you were in the college. So we are going to throw a party", she said non-stop.

I'm confused still. "Why, why do we want to throw a party?", "Because you are leaving, seriously?", I looked at her confused. Does she really want to throw a party before she leaves. Is this a hell-hole or what?

"Seriously?", she made a face looking at me. I stared at her. She sighed shaking her head, she knocked my head with her fingers, maybe a little hard, "How can you forget it, idiot? I know you've been busy and all that shit. But it's YOUR BIRTHDAY".

Oh! I really did forget it. But.., "I know it doesn't fall on this Friday. But I'll be leaving this week, so I thought why not pre-pone the party", she said excitedly. I was shocked and seriously surprised for two things, one I forgot my b'day and the second she wants to throw a party for me. Am I happy to have such a sweet caring sister? Hell, Yes!

"But I'm not young, okay? I don't have to throw a party to celebrate my birthday", I expressed my nagging feeling. "Yah! You are not young, so you should throw a party! And the second thing is who said YOU are going to throw it. I'm going to, I'm not interested in your tea-parties!!", she said making me look at her dumb-mouthed. "And I've booked the Dezire for the Friday night", She said making me gawk.

"WHAT?", "No....no, you didn't!", I stuttered. She wiggled her eyebrows at me. "Are you still not interested in it?", she asked me playfully. "Who said? Its my BIRTHDAY and I'm gonna party!!!"

She smiled at me, "And you are gonna have your party in your favorite Club. Now are you still mad at me?", she asked me. I smiled like a Cheshire cat and hugged tightly knocking her balance. Even though I've the biggest smile right now, my eyes gave out the happy-tears.

"You forgot to say something, big sister", she said to me.

"Ya?", I tried to focus on her but I was engulfed in my own little dream club.

I blanked out a while thinking about ′Dezire'. It was my dream to have a party in Dezire when I was in college. She was looking at me as though I'm forgetting something, yeah! I was in a middle of a conversation with her few minutes ago.

"What?", I asked her, "Aren't you forgetting something?", I looked at her blankly, "Something...?", she said loosing her little patience. She looked funny, with her big eyes widening and her eyebrows were shooting up constantly. She looks like someone who is expecting to get an appreciation but got forgotten. Oh!! Now I remember, I forgot to do the appreciation stuff and fell in my dream!

"You know,?", I started, "No, I don't know!", she interrupted me. Now someone is angry. "Yeah! You don't know", I thought of playing with her a little. She looked so annoyed. "You don't know,... that I've the BEST little sister ever", I said. "The Bestest?", she asked me smirking. "Yeah! The BESTEST of every possible humans in this world", I replied smiling at her behavior. She looked at me with the pride glinting in her eyes and said, "I know". I smirked.
