"I wanna be cool." Maya said, glancing at Donghyuck who was mindlessly walking beside her, left hand stuffed in his jacket pocket. "Am I cool?"

"No." Donghyuck replied reluctantly, not taking his eyes off his phone as they weaved through the people in the hallway.

She simply ignored his remark, trying to come up with some kind of thing she could do- not having any special reason, simply because she wanted a change. "What if I get a haircut?"

"And you think that'll make you cool? I don't think so." He laughed as they got to their seats, a few pairs of eyes following them.

"Then what?" Maya let out a chuckle, looking at him while pulling her left foot up on the stool she was sitting on.

Donghyuck stared at her for a while, deep in thought, Maya bringing up her gaze to look him in the eyes when he suddenly spoke up.
"Get a belly piercing."

"A belly piercing?" Her eyes widened for a fraction but a smile rose on her lips- she seemed to consider it.

"Yeah, that's hot." Donghyuck shrugged, getting back to his phone.

Finding herself in a mental contemplation, she hummed at the idea and tilted her head to the side.
"Do you think it hurts?"

"Why you asking me, I ain't got one." Donghyuck snorted, running a hand through his hair as he looked up at his roommate again.
"But you up for a challenge?" He brought out a smug expression, tongue sticking out at the corner of his parted lips as he smirked.

"I might."

It wouldn't have been Donghyuck if he hadn't nearly dragged her into the car as soon as the bell rang, both of them shoting up from their chairs and skipping the steps to squeeze through the mass of people ahead.

Her body was picked up from the ground, being placed into the passenger's side of the vehicle and the boy smirked, tricking her as he placed his mouth to brush over her rosy pillows and pulled away as soon as the girl tried to kiss him.

Maya whined, catching the wink he sent her way before jogging over to the other side, quickly speeding off to the busy road.

If that wouldn't have been enough, it would be a miracle but Maya was quick to recognize that the place he took them was in fact, the Tattoo shop.

"You actually brought me here?" She laughed out in surprise.

"You scared, doll?" He teased, one hell of a smirk pulling on the corner of his mouth as they got out of the car, the sound of the door slamming shut behind.

She watched him with her tongue poking the corner of her mouth, exiting the vehicle before coming to his side.
"Shut up." Maya rolled her eyes, opening the door to hear a small ding of a bell announcing their arrival.

They were greeted by a girl with thick, long brown dreads, a piercing in her nose and a whole row of tattoos covering her arms and shoulder blades.

Her thigh was decorated with a cluster of skulls and torns, her emerald green eyes and long lashes making her look like an actual ethereal porcelanian doll, her complexion shimmering in the interior lights.

"Hi, what can I help you with?" She voiced chattily, her pearly teeth revealing upon her smile.

"Uh," Maya smiled nervously, the anxiety kicking in now that she was a tiny bit away from the actual happenings. "Piercing?"

She took in the glance of Donghyuck chuckling from the corner of her eyes, his hand brought up to brush his nose and she kept the small smile placed on her lips, ignoring his mocks.

"Of course!" The girl chirped, her personality seeming way brighter than the way she'd dressed- a choker clasped around her neck with an unfamiliar symbol attached to it, black leather pants hugging her legs to connect with the same coloured combat boots. The crop top she wore, revealed the outlines of her abs and she extended her tanned arm for Maya to shake. "I'm Gianna, follow me."

In the small backroom, there was placed a black lather stool and multiple sketches of designs pinned on the walls.

A strike of uneasyness flew through her veins at the sight of the equipment and her mind started counting all the pros and cons of the given situation she was letting herself fall in.

Keeping a positive attitude, picking out the piercing was rather easy and now it came the part of her skin being holed apart.

Slightly scary, to say the least but Maya encouraged herself that it'd be fine as long as she gripped on Donghyuck's hand and despite knowing he wouldn't ever let her live that down, she was glad he didn't leave her by herself.

Through the whole process, Gianna was being very friendly and distracted the girl to answer random questions and take her mind off of the probable pain that was about to come.

It was all done in a second, surprising the girl as she felt the metal slide through her skin and set in place.

Wincing at the slight pain, Maya bit her lip.

One thing was for sure, she would've never done it if she knew it'll itch that much but with all of the reassuring and aftercare guides from Gianna's side, a rush of exhilaration electrified her heated body.

She felt cool.
