Yet another two days passed by, the ignorance beginning to get even worse than before.

Maya stuck to her room, never bothering to come out if it wasn't for school, her frame becoming weaker with less food brought into her system.

The last class of the day was over, making the students scatter to every direction, and among them were Maya and Seulgi.

"Let's go sit down, hm? I want to talk to you." Seulgi said, outstretching her arm to pull the other girl up on her feet and Maya sighed before giving in, pursing her lips as she followed.

Sitting down on the bench, she kept her head down, allowing her emotions to spill with the intense look Seulgi was giving.
"Why are both of you so stubborn?"

Maya shrugged her shoulders slightly, unable to speak as the lump in her throat prevented her to.

"Do you think people say communication is key for nothing?" Seulgi questioned, looking at her friend with sad eyes- her scolding having no use as it seemed.

"I see you care for him. Either the two of you are just so oblivious or you hurt each other on purpuse." Seulgi said sternly, still with a hint of softness lingering in her voice to not sound that judgemental.

"I get it, you may think you still like Mingyul but think about it. Maybe it's just the fact that you knew him for the longest and it just feels weird not having him around.
You grew upon it but the love you have for Donghyuck is something that comes within.
Your relationship with Mingyul got old, you got bored of each other and it's obvious you two had other things in mind, not putting each other as a first priority.
It's normal so don't be afraid to let go and start freshly with Donghyuck."

"But I-"

"Stop with excuses Maya." Seulgi interrupted sternly. "You can't defend Mingyul because what he did was fully absurd and unforgivable."

"I know." The girl whimpered. "I'm overthinking everything and I actually convinced myself he didn't mean it. I'm so stupid."

"Hey," Seulgi cooed, tone soft and sweet. "It's okay, but I advise you to talk it out with Donghyuck and he'll surely understand that you were overwhelmed. A lot happened to you in the past month."

"Do you think he'll listen?" Maya voiced, a hint of hope edging on her tone.

"He will." Seulgi encouraged. "He looks at you with such adoration, it's insanely adorable and I want you to fix things, yeah? I won't allow you to be like this anymore."

A short pause followed, the silence breaking as Maya spoke up.
"Thank you." She said, enclosing the older girl into a hug, crying into her shoulder and Seulgi rubbed her back lovingly.

The two stayed embraced for a few seconds more before another, way too familiar voice began to speak.

"You're such a crybaby." Donghyuck commented, leaning on the wall and his eyes instantly locked with Maya's teary ones.

The girls broke from the hug, Seulgi taking the chance to leave and giving the two space after patting Donghyuck's shoulder.

Silence followed, neither of them knowing what to say and Donghyuck gave her a sad look, instantly walking off.

"Wait."

"Please, listen to me." Maya voiced desperately, tugging onto his jacket as he avoided eye contact yet again, remaining silent.

"Don't even bother." Donghyuck spoke nonchalantly, walking away and leaving her alone once again.

Maya stood in the middle of the empty hallways, tears rolling down her cheeks as she watched his retreating back.

"Go after him!" A demanding voice of Seulgi hissed somewhere from behind and that was an additional push forward for the girl to break out into a run.

"Hyuck!" She called, running to his side as he stopped, back facung her.
"Please just let me explain."

Stepping in front of him, she looked up at his distant expression with worry and agitation seeping her insides.

"I never meant to hurt you Donghyuck." She began, voice latched with emotions she held- the bloodshot red eyes stinging with tears.

"You mean so fucking much to me and it was stupid from my side that I made you feel used. And I'm so sorry." She cried, putting her palm on his cheek and his brown eyes, shining with sorrow finally averted to her own.

"Just come back to me, that's all I'm asking for. Because I can no longer take it."

The girl felt relieved he was willing to listen as she talked genuenly from her heart clambered words. Her frail figure moulded into his arms when he wrapped them around her waist, vulnerable to the tone she was using.

Donghyuck was desperate to touch her, hold her because he hated the feeling of her belonging anywhere else. And now, he couldn't let go anymore.

"You know, I thought it over and made up my mind. He wasn't someone I'd wish to spend my time with and yeah, you were right he's toxic. I let him go, the feelings weren't real. But they're real for you Hyuck. I need you."

As soon as those words left her lips, Donghyuck couldn't stop himself from leaning down and pressing his lips to hers, pulling her closer and he put all of his emotions, his anger, his love into it. Without denying, he missed it.

Empty halls, but hearts full of love as the two kissed passionately like it was their last, Donghyuck pinning her against the lockers and not stopping at any cost as she had her arms locked around his neck.

It was her who pulled away though, completely out of breath and she smiled up at the boy she adored, brushing her fingers through his tousled hair.

"God I missed you." Donghyuck breathed out, biting his lip and leaning down to capture her mouth again as his thumb brushed her cheekbone.

A gasp fell from Jaemin's lips as he clamped a hand in front of them, wide eyed as a wicked smirked pulled on his features when he stood a few feet away.
"They're kissing, they're kissing." He whispered harshly while jumping up and hitting Seulgi's arm.

"Yeah, I can see that." She whispered back at him, taking the boy into a headlock while the others kept their gaze on the two.

"Finally." Chenle smirked proudly, fist bumping Jeno and the younger boy besides them groaned.

"Can we leave now?" Jisung rolled his eyes, leaned on the wall while sighing.

"What? You feel lonely? Guess what, I do too when that girl keeps on giving her attention to everyone else except me." Renjun scoffed, getting pinched by his girlfriend.

"You know I love you the most, Jun."
She said, jumping in his arms as they started leaving, one by one and giving privacy to the two.

"Get out of there if you don't wanna be locked in!" Jaemin shouted teasingly, eyes crinkling up as he ran to his car.
