4) meeting his cousin

(Reina)

I wake up in the most comfortable bed. I look beside me and Spike is looking over at me as she whines. She moves her nose to my face and sniffs my whole entire face; causing me to laugh. She then licks my whole face before climbing on top of me and laying her head in my neck.

"Did you miss me girl? I missed you too." I say as I pet her fur. I look around and that's when it hits me. This isn't my room. It's far from it. It's well decorated that's for sure and the tv is fucking huge. If only I had that tv in my place. Then the door opens and a girl smiles at me. She's really pretty.

"Hi my name is Leilani. You must be hungry. Come down and eat. I made pancakes." She was about to leave but I called out for her. "Leilani?!" She stops and turns around. "Where am I?" She smiles. "You'll see once you come down. Everyone is waiting for you."
She walks away and I decide to figure out who is waiting for me. I get out of bed and realize that someone changed my clothes.

I'm now in boy shorts and a tank top. I stretch my body before walking around with Spike behind me. Then I make it to the kitchen to find everyone looking at me. That's including Keira, James, Matthew, that Leilani girl and some guy. Keira jumps out of James' lap and hugs me. I hiss in pain from her squeezing my body.

She pulls away and smiles. "Finally sleeping beauty wakes up. Come eat these pancakes before James eat them all." We all look over at James and he rubs his neck since he was nervous. "It's not my fault Jayden makes the best pancakes." I shrug my shoulders and speak softly.

"It's okay if he eats them all. I'm not hungry. I'm going to go outside real quick. I'll be right back." Without waiting for anyone to tell me other wise, I walked out of the mansion and I sat on the steps. Spike sits down next to me and cuddles into my side. That's when all of the tears come out and I start to cry. Spike whimpers and rubs her head on my side.

(Matthew)

I sigh and out my coffee down. Jayden looks worried and Keira looks sad. "What's her story?" My cousin Leilani asks. I sigh before explaining why she is acting that way. "Oh my gosh I feel so bad for her. She's has been through hell." Keira rolls her eyes and I give her a confused look. I guess James noticed it too and looks at her confused.

"What was that for?" I ask Keira. She sighs before getting up and walking outside. James looks confused and so does Jayden. "WHY WOULD YOU TELL THEM?!" We hear from outside and we all run out. Keira looked like she was about to cry and we could all clearly see Reina was crying.

"I'm sorry okay they were worried about you and since we have to stay here I figured they should know. Please don't be mad at me babes. I'm sorry." Keira begs with tears welling into her eyes. Reina scoffs before looking at all of us but once she finally got her eyes on me, they never left.

"I'm leaving." Reina says as she runs. I chase after her. She is a fast runner but not fast enough. I finally catch up to her and grab her arm and bring her close to my chest. She screams and kicks will all of her might but it doesn't do anything. After 5 minutes of her kicking and screaming she gives up. "Why are you doing this? Why me? What makes me special?" She says while looking me in my eyes.

I sigh and wipe away her tears and move a curl out of her face. "You made me realize that I could be different and trust me no one has made me done that before. You should forgive Keira. She didn't want to tell me but then she felt pressured into telling. Blame me not her. I need you. We all do." She sighs and hugs me. I hug her back and we stay like this for a minute.

"Can we go back now and can you take me to bed?" She asks into my chest. "Sure but just know I'm staying by your side the whole night so we could watch The Fosters. Deal?" She smiles and at that moment I felt something warm in my chest. "Only if we can have cheesecake." She says causing me to laugh. "What kind?" She smiles even more. "Strawberry." I nod and text James to leave strawberry cheesecake in my room.
