"Jun is really careless." I muttered to myself.

I'm going to the town, right now. It took me less than a minute to get there. I decided to go to the palace for a visit. When I entered, it was really quiet, it's unusual for the palace to be quiet though.

"Nao?" I called out.

"Ayase!" he suddenly came running to me.

Something's wrong... Nao doesn't act like this.

"What happened?" I asked.

"Mother and father are fighting, ever since last month, and they started arguing over some things. Everytime I ask them why, they always pretends that nothing happened, and the second I leave, they start arguing again." he admitted.

Mom and dad doesn't usually fight. What happened?

"Mom, dad, it's me, Ayase!" I shouted.

"Ayase! Welcome back!" dad greeted me, with a big grin.

"How's my daughter doing?" mom asked, smiling yet upset.

They are acting wierd. They're no good at acting.

"Mom, dad, what's wrong?" I asked them, getting straight to the point.

"Nao told me, you two always argue now." I explained to avoid confusions.

I heard them sigh, look at each other, then nod.

"Your father isn't doing his job well." mom sighed.

"What do you expect?! I'm not perfect!" dad answered back.

"Families are losing their jobs, children are hungry. Deal with that, because of your mistake, everything went wrong!" mom shouted.

Mistake? What mistake?

"You see Ayase, your father, lost a huge amount of money because of their trading deals went wrong, and now a lot of families are suffering." mom explained, giving a very long sigh.

"I'm doing my job, they just need to wait for a bit." dad argued back.

What a shallow reason to argue about.

"Why wasn't the problem fixed immediately?" I asked dad.

"I needed more workers, and we're regaining money again, only patience is missing." dad said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Why didn't you help?" I asked mom.

"I was trying, but then I couldn't get things right." she said.

"Both of you are at fault then, dad needs to work faster, and mom needs to help and have more patience, arguing won't help." I glared at the two.

"Maybe you're right, sorry for all the trouble." they apologized to each other.

"Princess Ayase solved the problem." one of the maids said.

I looked over at them, and they flinched, but instead of glaring, I gave them a nod, which they returned.

"Ayase's so good." my brother hugged me.

"I just came to see how all of you were doing, I guess I have to go now, bye then." I said, without smiling.

I guess I'm still bad at conveying emotions huh? I better get back before anyone wakes up.
