Maybe It's War

"Get up." I demand, lightly kicking Akane's side. I sort of beat the confidence out of her system. She groans, turning around. "Jun." I call as he shoots me a knowing nod.

He walks over to Akane, lifting her up by the arm. "You wanted the practice." I shrug as she shoots daggers to me. She growls, pushing Natsuki out of her way. I follow her out, commanding Jun to stay in the room.

I do hope that you remember that I can command him to do what I want him to do.

"You didn't have to take it seriously!" She says, throwing her slim arms up into the air. I throw my head back in laughter. This girl is too funny. "Oh sweetheart, I wasn't even trying." I smirk, shaking my head.

"Ayase."

I frown, nodding. There's a trespasser. A sorcerer. "Jun. Stay." I command, giving him no choice but to stay. Akane does the same and we rush out to the same Yellow Lake. There were 5 sorcerers trying to break the vine off of Rei. Ha! Good luck with that.

"What are you doing here?" Akane asks, pushing away the obvious fear in her eyes. I think her power is nature. It would be a great asset here. "Nothing of your business." One girl roughly answers, surprising us by shooting a golden arrow. We both dodged it though.

"I think it's our business, since you're in our island and in our territory and in our lake." I grit my teeth, placing a barrier in where we are. I've got to make sure that the innocent doesn't get hurt.

They stop their movements. 4 boys and a girl. Everyone of them had a crazy glint in their eye, everyone except the girl. "What do you want?" I ask, taking a brave step forward. 2 of the boys steps forward, protecting the girl.

"We want our friend back."

"Sadly, you can't have him back. Unless you're willing to wait for a week. But I can't guarantee his life." I shrug, a heartless grin tugging onto my lips. The girl frowns, glaring at Akane and I.

"I want my brother back." The girl shouts, a hint of pain shown in her eyes. I shake my head. "What's your name?" Akane asks, narrowing her eyes at them.

"Mana." The girl simply answers.

"Kota." The first guy mumbles, his glare hardening. "Juli." The second guy answers with a slight smile. Weird. "Suma." The third guy answers, still protecting the girl. The fourth guy steps up, his emotionless gaze still holding up. "Yuu." He says.

"We want Rei back. And we want the two princesses that are staying here." Kota looks around. I felt Akane tense up beside me. I took a deep inhale, preparing to attack.

"Leave. Now." Akane warns, her hands balling up into a fist. They all smirk, crossing their arms. "This is our final warning, guys. Leave or die." I advice, adrenaline pumping in my veins.

"I doubt that you could beat us."

I felt my eyes harden. Akane seems to get this since she lunged for at attack, summoning insects to attack. I go for the kill though, shifting my hand into a knife. I try to slit one of their throats but they threw me into the river, Yuu following after me.

He pulls a big force of water before throwing it into my direction. I managed to survive the attack though. I create a bubble, giving me oxygen and room to breathe.

I suck a deep breath before pushing my legs, giving me energy to surface above the water. I controlled the wind, allowing me to fly around. I shape both of my hands into deadly weapons, ready to kill an unsuspecting Kota. Akane seemed to defend herself well. She was battling against Juli. Mana seemed proud of her group though.

I dive down from the sky, readying my knife. As I reach Kota, I push the knife into his chest, surely killing him. He was gasping for air before falling onto his knees. He's dead. 4 more to go.

"No! No!" Mana shouts, tears welling up in those sickening eyes. I felt the other boys stiffen up, their friends' death affecting them. I nod to Akane, who pushes Juli into a bush full of thorns. Everyone's head snaps to him as he groans in pain.

"Ugh!" He shouts as he winces in pain. I smile as Akane high-fives me. Suma starts attacking me as Yuu attacks Akane. Mana just stands there, looking drained and tired. I frown, slowly making my way towards Mana.

I dragged the knife near her neck. She immediately flinches, tensing up. I take a step back, dragging her along with me. Akane looks at me with a confused expression.

She could give us answers.

You see, we have this special connection with all of the princesses. Like mind messaging I guess.

Good thinking.

I smile, pushing Mana with the end of my knife. I pushed her into a private room which was soundproof. "Now, I think it's better if you take a seat." I gesture to the couch. She shakily sits, a sigh of relief escaping her parted lips.

Akane walked out of the door. "If any of you tries anything. This girl, is going to be dead." She shouts with a fierce tone. I like that. She walks back in with a smile on her face.

"So, what is their power?"

"Kota... used to be good in nature. Juli is also good with nature. Suma has earth while Yuu has water." She says, becoming less pale.

"And what is your power?" I ask, lifting an eyebrow up. She looks down, her expression turning glum. "I'm their source of power. The more they use, the weaker I get." She says, her voice becoming confident.

I feel slightly bad for her. "I could kill you if I want to. But I'm giving you a choice. Do you want to die... or do you want to owe your life to us?" I ask, giving Akane a victory smirk.

"I-I... I'll owe you my life." She glares, abruptly standing up. Akane pushes her back down. "Good. I want to know what's happening in your realm. I want to enter your realm. If you fail to make that happen... then you're dead. Tell no one about this. Got it?" Akane asks, a cold and hard stare given to Mana.

Mana gulps before nodding. "Got it." She answers, her eyes turning dull. "See you... Princess Mana of the East Kingdom." Yes, she is royalty. I just know. She gasp, probably shocked that I know her social standing. I push her out of the room. "I want information." I whisper, telling them to leave.

"Betray us and it's war. You're to blame. And you're to die." I threaten, making a realm so that they can leave. Once they leave, I start laughing along with Akane.

"Stupid sorcerers! We conquered one of them! A princess too!" Akane laughs as we make our way to the commanded bodyguards. "What did you do?!" Natsuki asks, a frown coming onto his face.

"We fought with a sorcerer. And possibly started a war." I sheepishly grin, looping an arm around Jun's neck. Their eyes widens. "Are you insane?! A war?!" They ask, biting their lip. They heard me!

"Oh, don't worry. We have eyes and ears now." A menancing grin appears on Akane's face. They look at us confused, not understanding our point.

"Princess Mana of the East Kingdom is in our control. She's our property." I shrug, getting tired of all the interoggation. They slowly nod, taking in the overwhelming information.

"Next time, we're coming with you." Natsuki declares, Jun nodding along with him. Oh well, we can command them anyways. "Well, that's up to us." Akane smirks, beckoning the boys to follow as we head for a hearty meal.

This is going to be interesting.
