Side note- So the last chapter went kinda fast so ima try and slow this one down also Ima add a picture of Rory on the side, it was from when they were talking in the living room...... ( its really Jeremy Sumpter but shh! ;3 )
Chapter 5
Shame was woken by her alarm the next morning at six am. She quickly got dressed, ignoring the dizziness, and headed down stairs. Nobody else seemed to be up so in the kitchen she did the dishes she saw in the sink and started to prepare breakfast. She made eggs, bacon, toast, coffee, took out the orange juice and milk, took down two different brands of cereal and bowls. When she finished it was seven. Then she set the table, Rory came down in a sleepy state when he smelled the bacon.
" Breakfast is served." Shame told him placing the finished bacon, eggs and toast on the table. She turned and headed back upstairs.
" Are you not going to eat Shame?" Rory asked her and she stopped in her tracks.
" The food is not for me to touch. Please help yourself, I will wake everyone up." Shame replied. She walked up the stairs and quietly woke all the pups up before walking up the adults.
They all walked down stairs and were surprised at all the good smelling food Rory was already eating.
" Rory did you cook this?" Meko asked sitting next to him. He shook his head and looked up at the ceiling.
" Mercy did this, why is she not eating too?" Mel said with a note of surprise. Rory nodded his head.
" She said it wasn't for her to eat." He said quietly.
" Well why don't we sit down, no use waisting good food." Mel said setting her youngest two in their chairs before taking her place next to Rory.
They ate in silence while wolfing down their food. Everyone was happy with how much they ate. After they were finished they loaded their dishes in the sink and went to get ready for their days. When the pups were dressed Leon took the boys to school and Mel took the girls, Shame rode in the back of their van quietly. Nobody made move to start a conversation, they were a little scared of what they would find out about the strange girl.
Shame passed through her classes is a dizzy spell, she didn't once see any of the Blood Scar pups so she thought they were taking the day off. While walking through the halls her dizzy spell grew and soon Shame was leaning along the walls for support. She turned and leaned her back against it, she was having trouble breathing.
" Shame, is something wrong? Hey answer me, you're starting to scare me." Rory appeared from around the nearest corner. He walked towards her and she suddenly collapsed, the floor rushing up to meet her. Rory caught her in his arms before she made contact with the hard concrete. " Shame please say something!" He yelled panicking.
" Rory." She said before fever took her and she slipped from reality into a nightmare.
Something pained Rory about seeing her in such a state, it felt like his insides were bleeding and he would give anything to be in her place. He picked her up in his arms and rushed out of the school into his woods. Almost breaking the door as he stormed his house.
" Who in all that's holy is...... Rory what happen to her?" Kalixta asked with worry lacing her voice.
" I don't know grandma she collapsed and she has a fever. What do I do, you have to help her. Please do something." Rory said his voice sounded like broken glass.
" Calm down child and take her to the clinic, I will get Makoto and Ayumu to take a look at her. Then go tell Kiana to go pick up the pups from school." Kalixta said in a calm voice. Rory furrowed his brow but did as he was told.
