Chapter 11
* Third person pov *
Giaan was true to his word as he asked the leader of Crescent Moon over to the Blood Scar house a few weeks later, he invited Downstream after admitting that it had to do with them too. Shame was in the middle of her sixth month and had gotten a lot bigger, they were all gathered in the living room, the pups from each of their packs were in the giant nursery they had in the basement, Cyanna and Gabriel were excited to see each other immediately sitting next to each other and lacing their hands together. Garath and Sam were a little more....personal as they almost sat in each other's laps. Rory and Shame sat with Makoto and Ayumu in a corner of the room, they were deep in conversation until Shame sensed Oliver and his pack arrived. A few seconds later there was a knock on the door and Kiran went to answer it.
" We are gathered in here." Kiran said her voice traveling down the hall. She came back into the room with seven people, Oliver and Dylan included. Oliver spotted them and walked over grinning, his eyes on Shame like she was a prize to be won. Rory saw him looking and growled as Shame flinched into him.
" I am Giaan alpha of Blood Scar and this is Layac alpha of Downstream." Giaan said stepping forwards as Layac did. A man stepped forwards, he had Oliver's brown hair but his eyes were dark green almost black and he was at least 6' 9''. A woman stepped up with him, she had blond hair and Oliver's blue eyes.
" I am Aiden and this is my mate Isis." He said in a deep voice holding out his hand to shake Giaan's and Layac's.
" I hear you are looking for someone form my pack, what business do you have with them." Giaan asked in a monotone voice trying not to look at Shame who was slightly hidden behind Rory and Makoto.
" Your Khaleesi, we wish to mate her with our heir. Oliver come here son." Isis said in a high voice as she waved to her son. Oliver nodded walking over to his mother and bowed to the alphas.
" I am sorry to inform you but our Khaleesi is......unavailable at the moment. Gone out for the day." Kalixta replied lying easily but Oliver knew better as he growled at her.
" You lie. Blood Scar's Khaleesi is right there, Her name is Shame." Oliver said snapping at Kalixta and pointing to Shame. Her bump was hidden by Ayumu.
" You say she is out, what else did you lie about, that she is unavailable?" Isis demanded looking up in aggravation.
" She is not available, she is already mated." Layac snapped back glaring at Oliver.
" Impossible the full moon isn't here yet! To whom would she be mated to, I demand a match." Isis ordered.
" No." Shame choked at the thought of Rory in a fight getting hurt or worse. She gripped his hand looking around the room.
" Shh, Mercy it'll be fine. No one is fighting." Makoto ordered. If looks could kill almost everyone would be dead by the glare she gave them.
They lapsed into silence until Isis spoke again.
" Well, tell me who? I want to see your Khaleesi face to face and not from across the room. Come here little girl." Isis said with malice lacing her voice. It reminded Shame of when she lived with Giaan and she stared at him wide eyed and frightened but she didn't move. Giaan flinched at Isis's words and Shame's reaction.
" Gregory Marks, my grandson and our heir to the Downstream pack. And the full moon is in two days, that's when they will be finishing the ceremony." Kalixta spoke up walking forwards and standing next to her mate. Isis growled to Kalixta in amusement.
