Chapter 10
* Third person pov *
" Really I'm fine." Shame assured Rory as she sat up in Ayumu's office at school.
" You passed out in class, why didn't you tell me you weren't feeling well?" Rory asked sadly.
" I was feeling fine, apparently I didn't know I was that tired." Shame replied offering him a small smile. Rory smiled back and squeezed her hand that was in his.
" I think it would be best if we went home. Besides, I don't like the way Oliver keeps asking about you." Rory said looking at her.
" I want to stay, and he keeps asking about Blood Scar's Khaleesi. I don't think he knows it's me or was me, and I am already someone's mate, yours remember." Shame told him sighing. Rory didn't want to stay but it was the one thing she asked, ever, so how could he ignore that?
" Ayumu what should we do?" Rory asked him. Ayumu looked at his work and read it over.
" Well it is fine if you two stay, Shame and the pup is are fine, they may need something to eat but I see not problem with staying. But is you feel bad again Shame, then you need to tell Rory, no matter how small. Understand?" Ayumu replied laying the clipboard in his hands on the desk.
Rory thought about what to do, the only thing he wanted to do was make her happy but if putting her and his pup in danger then he needed to find a way to make both happen.
" Alright we will stay." Rory said after fighting in his head.
Shame practically attacked him as she pulled him into a bear sized hug. Rory laughed and hugged her back, he helped her out of the bed and said good-bye to Ayumu as they went back to class. The bell rang as they reached Dylan's classroom, they waited till the everyone left so they could go in and gather their things.
" I understand that Shame was fine, just needed sleep. What I don't understand is why you didn't come back Mr. Marks, care to explain?" Dylan asked looking up at the two that came in. Oliver stood against the wall smiling slightly looking out the window.
" I had to stay, Ayumu told me to stay." Rory replied simply and helped Shame collect her things.
" Excuses, detention. Tomorrow after school." Dylan said waving at him. Shame looked at Dylan in disgust. Rory simply nodded and they walked out.
" What do you think of her?" Dylan asked his nephew after they left.
" She is very pretty, would make a great mate but I still want to see the Khaleesi first." Oliver replied with a grin. Dylan nodded with pride.
Shame and Rory made their way to the caffeteria as Ayumu instructed to get her something to eat. Neither of them were in a good mood but being alone with each other helped.
" You know what." Shame started then stopped.
" Yes Mercy?" Rory asked.
" I think I do want to go home." She said leaning into him as they sat at one of the tables.
" Are you sure?" Rory asked in surprise. Shame nodded and started getting up.
Rory helped before standing himself, they made their way to the from office and signed themselves out. The lady at the desk made no comment as certain people at the school had already been informed of her condition, she being one of them. Holding hands they walking out of the school and into the forest. Silently making their way to Downstream territory then to their house.
