Chapter 22

Rosa pov:

While heading up stairs as I kept on getting closer and closer to my door I realized that their was a bouquet of flowers with a note. I picked it up and unlock my door and locked it as soon as I got in. The only weird part is that they're blue roses.

I put the bouquet on the kitchen counter and grabbed the note which said

"Got blue roses because I know that they're your favorite. Too bad you ruined Coachella for us :( we could of had so much fun. Thanks to you I got arrested but your forgetting what my family does so you better watch your back Rosa. Just know I'll be watching every move. Hope you sleep good tonight ~ yours truly the guy that you once loved Ricky"

Then I started to remember when I parked my car in the parking lot I saw a car that was familiar and the only person I know that drives a Bentley is well you already know who considere who left the roses. I closed all of my blinds and went to go lock myself in my bedroom and stayed there until I heard a knock on the door.

Zion Pov:

After Rosa dropped us off Edwin decided to go out again and nobody is home except for Nick and I. Lately he's been getting on my nerves even though I would love to punch him but that's still my band mate.

I went to the kitchen Nick walked in and rolled his eyes at me

"Come on dude that was very childish of you to do" I told him

"Oh really childish of me? Says the one who's always with Rosa 24/7 knowing damn well that I still care about her"

I just laughed cause I knew he was gonna get mad at me for still hanging out with her but I mean come on she's my best friend how am I just gonna ditch her like that? Just because my friend and best friend broke up

"Bro how many times do I have to tell you that we're literally best friends nothing else besides I mean yeah she's hot but I don't see her like that. Either way just because you dated her means I'm go after her as soon as you guys broke up nah I ain't like that at all"

"Sorry it's just that I really miss her and I just don't know how to get her back"

"Trust me all she needs is some space from you I mean she's trying to move on that's all"

"But that's not what I want-" before nick could finish I cut him off

"Look give her some space okay but I'm leaving I ain't staying home"

I grabbed my things and called an Uber to go to Rosas place. When I got there I already had a extra key so I unlocked the door only to find Rosa by the kitchen with a knife

"Dude wtf why are you holding a knife like that"

"Oh it's just you thank god" she put the knife down and gave me a hug which made me wonder

"What's up you look very pale"

"He's out and I'm pretty sure he's trying to kill me or whatever" she showed me a note that she dug out from the trash along with some roses. I read it and just looked at her and hugged her tightly.

"Okay well there's no way I'm let you stay here so let's go"

Rosa shook her head "we can't because he's here I saw his car in the parking lot"

"Okay so what now"

"Idk"

We sat and thought about an idea on how to escape Rosa out of here. We texted Edwin but since Ricky knows what he looks like so we told him to stay at the house. About few minutes later we got an idea but we would have to wait until it's 3am.

Rosa pov:

About 3am

While I was dating Ricky I remembered about how he barely sleeps and that the only time he'll sleep for a little bit is like around this time so that's the only time we have to leave. I never thought I would have to go down this road again. I have so many reasons on why I broke up with him.

Zion and I quietly and safely got out of my apartment and had to go through the back even though we had to jump through some fences but we got out okay. I took my important documents that I needed just in case you may never know. We had to walk like 5 blocks from my apartment to meet up with Edwin though.

We arrived back at the pm house and we made sure no one followed us thankfully no one didn't. While we were in Edwins room trying to come up with an idea on how to get away from this.

"Okay I gotta know how in the hell did you even met this guy" Zion asked me

I sighed "when I used to party back then when Edwin left all I did was party and all and one time we we were invited to this mansion party and we didn't think of it too much but Ricky and his family are in a cartel and we ended up dating his family loves me but once Ricky started to get all controlling I ended it and I guess he wasn't happy about that. Maybe I should of listened to his sister when she told me not to get involved with him but I was just high most of the time so yeah"

They both looked at me shocked especially Zion

"Well that sounds like a movie right there great job on dating him you smart ass" Zion smacked me in the head and I flinched a little

"Rosa has he ever hit you?" Edwin asked me but I didn't answer and he sighed "why would you let me him do that"

"I mean I have no choice Edwin I was scared and didn't know what to do"

After talking about our plans we talked and came up with one looks like tomorrow night we're flying out to Spain I guess
