I forgot that I was going to make another author's note at the end of this. First of all, I did meet the 50k word count goal for nanowrimo while updating my other two drafts (except I missed an update at the very end, oops). That said, the main goal for this draft was to hit 50k words. Now that I've done that and received publishing discounts/deals through nanowrimo's sponsors, I'm going to edit this draft.
This story was pretty close to being entirely improvised, and I wrote this in a month, so of course it needs a lot of work. After I edit it a few times, I might post the new and improved version to Wattpad so that I can ask for critics and editors (and, well, readers in general) to look at it. Handy Hiding Place is going to be my first published book, and I'm very excited to start editing. The deal I decided to go with through nanowrimo expires June 30, so I want to see if I can publish this story before then. When it is published, I will post that update on the improved Handy Hiding Place wattpad draft.
