Ch. 19: Moon Festival (Part 2)

A Few Days Later, the Morning of the Academy Festival. Opening Ceremony Venue.

"We ask you to be thorough on hygiene management and to have infallible counter-measures for food poisoning... about the submission of the income and expenditure reports.." Someone was announcing on stage.

"Yukihira-kun! Akio-chan! And Erina!" Alice calls out to them in the crowd.

"Oh! It's been a while!" Yukihira replies.

"The day has finally arrived.. are you fully prepared?" Alice asks Yukihira.

"Yeah, well, for the time being."

"I see~ I'm glad. It's a shame we can't compete in the same area... But our booth is monopolizing the Main Street area, ok?~" Alice said this but with her cheerful and carefree tone.

"Incidentally, it would seem that the two people behind you are extraordinarily exhausted... just what happened these last few days?" Erina was concerned for the two males on the ground that looked extremely tired and dead.

Akio pats them on the back and nodding as if he felt the same.

"Yukihira-kun, you do your best in the Central Area. Look, speak of the devil... Kuga-senpai." Alice says as she looks ahead of her.

Kuga and Yukihira made eye contact before the announcement said, "We'll sing the Totsuki Tea Ceremony and Cooking Academy Anthem..."

"School anthem? We had such a thing? Hey, Tadokoro?" Yukihira asked.

"In the land of the rising sun's~" Tadokoro sang.

"Bosom~" Yoshino and Ibusaki sang right behind Yukihira.

Akio dislikes the anthem but didn't want to be disrespectful so he just lip singed the whole song.

"You all can sing it!?" Yukihira looked around him.

Then just when the anthem was done and everyone stopped singing, Senzaemon spoke from the speaker.

"The time has come. From this moment—... I declare the Moon Banquet Festival open!!!"

Everyone rushes in to the school and went to where their booth was at.

Akio wears a butler-like clothes and was taking orders and cooked. He served and he would help others. Akio was doing many things for the first day of the Moon Festival.

Just when the day ended, Yukihira's booth and the Shiomi Research Group's booth lost money. The first years were in a room and Erina was nagging at them.

"What is the meaning of this!? All of you advanced to the Autumn Selections' main tournament! It is already an embarrassment that three finalists are in last place in sales. But you all actually lost money! Are you trying to demean the prestigious Autumn Selections?!"

Tadokoro starts shaking with tears in her eyes. "S-sor... I'm so sorry..!!"

"I.. I was t speaking to you specifically, Tadokoro-San." Erina sweat dropped and tried to calm her down.

"How are you going to take responsibility for this, eh, Nakiri? You made a crap-ton of mistakes ordering ingredients!" Hayama asked Alice.

"But you were supposed to check the order, Hayama-kun!" Alice pouts angrily.

"I think you said you'd do that too, miss." Kurokiba said blankly.

"Hey, whose side are you on?!"

"Hey, Kurokiba. What's up with your mistress? She kept changing the menu lineup until the day before! That's why she made mistakes like this!"

Kurokiba sighs. "You don't know what you're talking about. She'll keep doing tomorrow and forever." He looks at Hayama with a serious expression.
