Ishita was mentally jumping in joy as she thought the family were convinced with her answer, but she did not know how smart her friend could be. Simmi chose not to dig in further as she knew Ishita was a shy person, she saw the shock on her face when Ruhi had caught them confessing their feelings. She prayed for her friend to be happy, as she deserves all the happiness in the world. Noticing Ishita smiling at Raman and sometimes blushing looking red, she and Toshi were more than happy to know that the couple's relationship was finally progressing. She was having a nice laughing session with Toshi in the kitchen when Ruhi has asked Ishita why she was looking red after coming out from their room.
Ruhi: Ishima, did papa put the AC at the minimum temperature in the room? Were you feeling cold?
Both Ishita and Raman were confused with Ruhi's sudden question. They were preparing to go their respective work when Ruhi blocked Ishita with such a question.
Ishita: Nehi toh... Temperature was normal, aur meine 10 minutes pehle switch off bhi kiya. Kyu? (No... And I switched it off 10 minutes ago. Why?)
Ruhi: Aapki nose aur cheeks pink pink hai (Your nose and cheeks are pink)
Ruhi said giggling while Ishita touched her face and remembered Raman teasing her in the room about the time where she became his laal mirchi instead of a green karela.
Raman: Woh kuch nehi hai Roo, lagta tumhari Ishima ne kuch zyada blusher daal diya (That's nothing Roo, guess your Ishima applied more blusher than usual today)
Ishita: Haan mein clinic mein thik kardungi... I'm getting late mein chalti hoon. Bye Roo (Yeah I'll fix it in the clinic. I'll go)
Ishita took her handbag and lunchbox and rushed out of the apartment and Raman had went behind he saying that he was getting late for his office. He went behind her and managed to catch her saree pallu. Simmi had pulled Toshi to the balcony to witness the couple and their daily dose of romance. Feeling her pallu being stuck, she tried pulling it only to see Raman holding it. She pulled it and walked to her red car huffing.
Raman: Areyy... itna gussa? (So much anger?)
She wanted to hit him with her handbag but Raman held her shoulders calming her down. Melting in his arms, she pouted saying.
Ishita: Aap bohot bure ho... Pehle room mein aise karte ho, phir sabke saamne mujhe tease karte ho (You're so bad... First you do that in the room, then tease me in front of everyone)
Raman: Phir kya boli? Ki uski Ishima uski papa ki baat sunkar laal hogayi? (Then what should I said? That her Ishima listened to her papa and became red?)
Ishita: See you're teasing me again
Raman pinched her cheeks lightly
Raman: Okay okay mein tease nehi karungi
Ishita: Acha okay mujhe late ho raha hai (Okay I'm getting late)
The touched each other's nose with their forefinger (like SRK and Kajol in KKHH) and waved bye smiling and walking towards their cars. Toshi was the happiest seeing her kids so happy, especially when she knew what happened to Ishita.
Toshi: Dekha Simmi, I was right in bringing them together
Simmi: Haan mumma, I feel so happy seeing Ishita moving on forgetting everything
"Not all the pain would go away Simmi, I'm sure she still has some bits she's holding on to. She'll only be fine when she lets it all out", Toshi thought as she went to the kitchen to instruct Neelu in cooking. IshRa's relationship was a very limited one. Raman did not want to scare her with the sudden amount of intimacy, as he could somehow read a hidden pain in her eyes. He knew she wouldn't be herself until she lets out the pain that has been in her heart. Ishita had almost forgotten about her past, all she knows now were Ruhi and her papa Raman. The family knew nothing had progressed between the couple, as they still kept Ruhi with them in the room at night, but they did not want to interfere. It was going on like this for some time until it was about a month away from their first wedding anniversary. Ruhi had got her progress report and was waiting for her Ishima to finish cleaning the kitchen so that she could sign. Raman had signed it earlier and Ruhi was desperately waiting for it to be signed by her Ishima. She was extra excited as it was a holiday tomorrow and her Mihika chitti had gotten new cartoon DVDs for them to watch together.
