Ishita: She slept off. Good night. Have a safe flight. Just text me if there's anything that you need. And message once you all reach Canada. Bye.
Ishita ended the call. She adjusted Ruhi in the bed and she adjusted herself. Sooner before she knew it she slept off too. The next few days, her bond with Ruhi has been growing stronger and stronger. The day would't be complete if they didn't have at least few hours of fun together. Ishita wouldn't have any appointments after schooling hours as she made it 'Ruhi time'. She would take her for ice-cream or to the playground in the evening.
Whenever Ruhi wanted stuff from the Bhalla house, Ishita would always give Raman an informative message before going in. If he's online, she'll call him. Raman too didn't mind, well obviously. He gets a chance to hear her voice. Raman told Ishita many times that she doesn't need to inform but Ishita likes being polite and not just barge into one's house without permission. (I don't want to concentrate too much on IshRu because I want Raman to come home soon as a shock is waiting you all. I am not planning to reveal the shock now because there won't be any thrill in the later chapters)
One evening, Ishita received Raman's WhatsApp message saying that they'll be back by the next day. He stated that he couldn't communicate through video call as they were always in the hospital and Shaila Ji's house. Ishita knew Ruhi missed her Papa, but she made her understand why he couldn't talk to her freely and the time zone was another issue. Ruhi understood and listened to Ishita.
The next day
Ishita picked up Ruhi from school and told her to quickly change and eat lunch. When Ruhi asked why, she just said that she wants to take her somewhere. Once Ruhi ate, she gave her a pair of jeans and a nice t-shirt to wear. Ruhi changed into the clothes and Ishita went to change too. After they changed, Ishita took her car keys and handbag and held Ruhi's hand with her other hand.
Madhu: Ishu kanna, Ruhi kanna, where are you going?
Ishita: Amma I told you yesterday remember?
Madhu: Oh haa I forgot you both have fun okay?
Ruhi: Daadi at least you tell us where are we going.
Madhu: I didn't see anything, I didn't hear anything, I didn't say anything.
Madhu covered her eyes, ears and mouth like the three monkey emojis🙈🙉🙊Ruhi started laughing.
Ishita: Roo, the more you delay, the later you'll know where we are going.
Ruhi: Offo I forgot, Ishita Aunty lets go chalo naa...
Ishita; Bye Amma, see you later. Chalo Roo
Madhu: Bye mera babies.
She waved to them as they went down the stairs. Once they disappeared, Madhu had a small frown on her face.
Vishwa: Kya hua Madhu? (What happened Madhu?) You were fine a while before.
Madhu: Ruhi and Ishu are so close, how I wish Ishu was married and had a daughter of her own. I just don't want to start the marriage topic for her, she'll be sad.
Vishwa: Chodo na Madhu... (Just leave it Madhu...) After a long time I'm seeing her happy. Just let her be. Once she decides to get married the we'll see.
