⚠️- Bullying/Offensive language

(Colby)

I scurried down the halls of my school, I was stopped by my gym teacher because he decided to tell me that he didn't understand why I thought I could do gym. 'Weak kids aren't good for this stuff' he told me. Him doing that, caused me to be late to my next class.

There wasn't a time you could name that was of me being late to class. Now I was, and it wasn't my fault.

I walked down the halls all too quickly, and kept my head down. I didn't think I would run into anyone but I did, slamming to the ground along with my my books.

"Watch it." Someone snarled down at me. I looked up to see Sam Golbach, the school bad boy and natural bully, glaring down at me.

I quickly picked up all my books, and stood up looking down instead of at him. "I-I'm sorry." I stuttered. He huffed, then after continuing to walk to where ever he was going, most likely skipping.

Of course once I got to class, humiliation was waiting for me. I took my seat and kept my head low to hide the tears the kept down my face. I normally wouldn't cry to a teacher just simply calling me out. The thing that got me was the name calling that was said, and the scattered laughing. If it was anyone else, no one in the class would've cared about the teacher telling them their late.

But I'm Colby Brock, being easy on me and nice would be just too hard.

"Hey, loser." A guy beside me whispered, I was about to ignore him but he threw a ball of paper at me causing a few people around me to giggle and snicker.

"Read it." The guy spoke again, everyone around us must've knew what it said because they stared waiting for me to read it. I slowly unfolded it, honestly terrified of what I would see. When I unfolded it, it was a drawing of me obviously horribly done. It was made to make me look very stupid, and it had rude things written around it. It said, 'fag', 'retard', 'loser', 'friendless geek', there were more but I stopped myself from reading them.

A tear drop landed on the paper, I didn't even know I was crying. I grabbed my stuff and quickly ran out of the class. The paper was crinkled up in my fist as I ran out of the school. I knew I couldn't leave so I just ran behind the school, once again running into someone.

I looked up once I stopped focusing on the pain the the fall brought to my butt. Sam Golbach, again. Of course, I was still crying so I probably looked like a complete idiot.

Sam was holding a cigarette in his hand, and he blew out smoke while looking down at me. "Are you ever gonna watch where the fuck you're going?" He said, sounding angry and like a sarcastic asshole at the same time.

"I'm.. I'm sorry." I said in between sobs. I picked myself up, and began walking away.

"Wait, you dropped.. this." He said, I instantly turned around and saw him looking at the stupid drawing that had me crying in the first place. "Who did this?" That was the first time I have ever heard Sam Golbach sound concerned and worried.

"J-Just some k-kid.. I.. I don't know." I continued to sob.

He walked over to me, and gently held it out for me to grab. "Throw it away, don't keep looking at it. It'll make everything worse if you do." He said politely. "While you're at it, show me who drew this at lunch."

I lifted my head so my gaze met his. "Wh-What?" I asked him.

"I want to know who did it. They have no right to treat you this way, and they're going to know that it is stopping." Sam said, I couldn't believe he was saying this. He never acts politely towards anyone.
