Our friend group was pretty amazing, it was that friend groups that everyone liked and wanted. My friends- Sam, Corey, Jake, Devyn, and Elton- were all at an abandoned place we like to meet up. I was running late due to my mom asking for help with the dishes.

Sam and Jake are dating, and Corey and Devyn are dating. All very cute together, but I had the biggest school girl crush on Sam. Jake took notice one day, he said he understands because Sam's so amazing, and that it's fine as long as I keep it to myself, which is what I've done.

I walked into the destroyed building and heard my stupid friends messing around. I climbed the stairs and entered the room we always hang out in. "Colby!" I heard my name called a million times, I just laughed and walked towards them. "What's up brother!" Corey called out.

"There Devyn, now you're not the only girl here!" Elton called out, causing everyone to laugh.

"Oh, ha ha. So funny, Elton." I said, laughing with them. We all eventually began conversating, and when everyone talk my eyes went to them. Sam spoke, but when someone else took the floor of talking my eyes didn't leave Sam. His hand was latched onto Jakes, their fingers intertwined lovingly. I can't help but wish my hand was in the place of Jakes.

I snapped out of it, and joined the conversation. Though out of the corner of my eye, Jake sent me a glare. "Yo, Colby? Talk a sec?" Jake asked, everyone heard this but ignored it once we walked away. "What're you doing?"

"What do you mean? You said you wanted to ta-" I didn't understand what he meant, truely, but he interrupted me before I could explain that.

"Stop staring at my boyfriend. Stop daydreaming about him, you're our best friend. Are you serious?" Jake snapped, pain and anger swirled in his eyes.

"Jake-"

"Jake?" I heard a light voice call out, knowing it was Sam. He rounded the corner and saw us, sending a cute smile.

"Hey, baby. We were just talking." Jake walked to Sam, and they walked away. Tears filled my eyes, I'm not really sure why. I don't understand why my feelings are so strong towards him, it doesn't make any sense.

"Colby?" I looked up to see Elton walking over to me. "Why does Jake look.. so.. pissed." His sentence faltered when he saw the tears in my eyes.

"I-I, uhm. I have to go home." I lied.

"You just got here. What's wrong? What did Jake do?" Elton started getting upset, thinking Jake was doing something wrong. He really wasn't though, I'd have down the same thing if someone looked at my boyfriend and loved him.

"Nothing. It's what I did.. what I do and I shouldn't." I cried, sniffling. "I gotta go." With that, I ran out of the building and went home.

We all stood there as Elton and Colby talked about whatever. It pissed me off, how could you love one of your best friends, and at that one of your other best friends boyfriend?

Elton walked back up towards us, seeming angry and confused. "Jake what the hell happened? Why was he crying?"

Everyone looked at me, "I didn't know he was crying. I just told him.. something." It did piss me off what he was doing, but I didn't want the group to be mad at him, and I didn't want to embarrass him.

"Jake, what happened?" Sam asked this time, sounding stern.

"Guys, I don't want anyone to be mad at him or let him feel embarrassed. It pisses me off what he's doing but he's still my friend." Everyone nodded, still confused.
