Niall's P.O.V

"I don't take us near the alligators and snakes, sweetheart. If they come near us, then I simply turn the boat in the opposite direction." The man says. Cleo just nods, then looks at her hands in her lap.

"Oh, shoot. We weren't supposed to go out this far out, don't worry! Don't worry! We aren't lost. We'll fine our way back, the lake isn't big enough to get lost." The tour guide leader says to the other man who is fiddling with a small map.

Little kids are confused as to what's going on, but it's visible on parents' faces that they're a bit nervous about what's happening. I copy the parents' actions by acting calm as if everything was okay.

"What?" I look into Cleo's big brown eyes as she looks at me and I can tell she's uncomfortable.

"We're lost in the middle of nowhere surrounded by a lake full of crocodiles and other weird animals underwater." She whispers, so I just pull her closer to me and kiss her cheek.

"Hush, there are kids next to you and if you freak out, so will they." I know the the adults are trying to remain calm, but if their kids find out that we're actually lost they'll go crazy. If that were to happen, it would be harder to calm Cleo down more, than calming down a bunch of children in this situation.

She isn't over her fear of water yet, but I'm trying to slowly get her used to being around it and I'm doing a good job so far. She's becoming more familiar with large areas of water, but now I feel like we're backtracking in process.

Whenever we hit the side of a swamp, the man turns the boat back around to try and get us back on track, but it freaks the children out on the boat, most of them asking if we hit an alligator.

"Just close your eyes and I'll tell you whenever we're back." She pretends that she's asleep while I scratch her back.

"Aaaaalrighty, we're going to come around this curve and go back to the dock." The man says as he tells us about the alligators in sight.

"Here, ladies and gentleman, you'll spot the crocodile on the left that is- that is coming our way. It's just disturbed by us passing through, keep all objects inside the boat please." Cleo's head pops up and looks behind herself.

"Shhh. You cannot do this here. Not now. There are children around us and you cannot do that. Stop looking at it," I try turn her head around, but she moves her head to look again.

"Mommy! Look, he's coming to say hi." Cleo turns her head around and speeds up her breathing.

"It's just going underneath the boat, it's not eating us. Relax." I whisper and give her my hand, she was supposed to lace her fingers with mine, but she plays with my fingers instead. Popping each of my knuckles.

On this tour, there is a slight joke and they do this all of the time.. I read online that the boat dips to the side as if it were to tip over, but it's a hole that they dug in the water purposely.

People said it's their favorite part.

I'm laughing from the water getting on us a bit, but Cleo has had enough. She bends over to put her elbows on her knees and her face in her hands.

"Sir, my son is getting motion sickness, can you drive up to the dock faster?" The man next to me says.

"No! Turn face the other way! Get him off of your lap!" The woman says, so as the man was putting his kid he already looks sick. I notice that he's holding his stomach I realize that that's the same thing Cleo does.

"Ouch, what are you-" I yank her arm in my direction to make her get on my lap once I see the kid bend down next to Cleo. I don't need her getting sick as well.

"Gross." Cleo says in disgust and faces the other way.

Getting off the boat wasn't the problem it was her complaining about how she wants water once we left that tour exhibit.

"Catch snow on your tongue." I laugh and grab her mitten covered hands and get in line to feed the smelly pigs.

"No," She whines. Whenever I look down at her she reminds me of the little girl named 'Boo' from the 'Monsters Inc.' movie.

"What if I die of dehydration?" I tap her dark pink nose.

"You won't." I smile and she lays down in the snow on her back while we're still in line just to be a brat, so that I'll get her water.

"Fine." I groan and step over her as I get out of line to go purchase a bottle of water and a cup of hot chocolate.

"Can we trade?" She sees my hot cocoa and looks up at me. It's hard for me to say no to her. Especially whenever she looks this cute.

"Please?" She stands on her tiptoes to see the cup again before she takes it and I grab her water bottle.

Feeding the pigs scared the hell out of her which I got on film. I record her on my cell phone whenever squeals come from her mouth because of the pig's tongue tickling her hand.
