Niall's P.O.V -

After we visited her dad's grave, Cleo kept crying, but not as much as she was before. Mainly just sniffles. I stood behind her as she was crouched down, telling her dad about me. It was funny whenever she described me to him. Cleo kept calling me her "love bug".

It surprises me whenever she openly says to the grave that she doesn't necessarily like my mother right in front of me, but I didn't mind because I already suspected that she didn't.

My scalp prickles whenever Cleo talks about her nightmares. She won't even go into detail about them with me! Of course, she'll tell me what happened, but nothing vividly.

It's been a week and a few days since Cleo had her break down on the jet. She agreed to go to therapy three days a week and take pills for her anxiety every day.

Today is Harry's birthday and the guys at the frathouse decided to throw him a birthday bash. So, Zayn and I are responsible for buying drinks and food while everyone else is setting up at one of the guys' house who used to live in the frathouse. He moved out a few weeks ago, but offered to have Harry's party there since it's huge.

"Babe, I'm going to the store." I notify Cleo while I grab my keys off of the counter. She's laying down on the couch watching 'The Breakfast Club' movie in her pajamas.

"You sure you don't want to come?" She shakes her head no and I move her curls out of her face to kiss her forehead.

I love it whenever her cheeks turn rosy.

At the store I purchase up beers and alcohol and Zayn buys chocolate covered strawberries, pretzels, jello shots, a giant five pound bag of gummy bears, potato chips, and more junk food.

"Hello?" I forgot to call Cleo.

"Did you lock the door? I did, but double check. I don't want you there with unlocked doors." I can hear her sigh through the phone.

"Yes, daddy, I double checked just now and the doors are locked." The sarcasm in her voice makes me chuckle while I drive to the next store.

I have to go buy Cleo a smaller size swimsuit because I already know she can't fit the other one. It'll be her excuse to not go.

"Hmm.. I think I like it whenever you call me that. Let's save that for the bedroom though, shall we?" Giggles sprout through the speaker and it makes me smile.

***

"Oh, darn." Cleo snaps her fingers, trying not to smile. "Looks like it's too small." She holds up the swimsuit.

"What? Babe! You didn't even try it on. How do you know you can't fit it?" I nag.

"Because I don't want to fit it." There she goes with this attitude..

"It's a swimsuit. You don't even have to show me what it looks like if you don't want to, just please try it on." I sit on the edge of the bed and she stomps in the bathroom to change clothes.

The party doesn't start for a few hours, so I'd like to get a good nap in. My pants are on the floor. I'm just wearing an old v-neck and my boxers underneath the comforter.
