~ STORM ~
"YES! Finally! It's been way to long since we all hung out." Yasmine said getting out of the car.
It was Saturday afternoon and we were currently in the parking lot of Westbrook mall. I know I shouldn't be spending money seeing as I will only be working one of my jobs for the next two weeks, but I grabbed $100 just incase I see something I like.
"Hell yes, that means you guys can help me pick out an outfit for my date with Jayvon." Giselle said.
I rolled my eyes and snorted, "Girl you still messing with Jay no shit ass." I said while I grab my purse out of the back seat of Yasmine's car.
Yasmine convinced me to let her pick me up instead of taking an uber to the mall. I hate when Giselle and Yasmine want to give me ride places and shit because I didn't want to depend on them. I like figuring things out on my own and they hate that about me.They always yell at me and tell me that I need to stop acting like that but it's hard not too, I like being independent.
"Of course I am! that's my husband." She said with an offended look on her face.
Jayvon was Giselle's lame ass boyfriend that loves disrespecting her. She knows he ain't shit but she stay with him. I don't understand, he treats her like shit in front of other people, cheated on her twice, and has left her on the side of the road because she said something he didn't like.
"He doesn't treat you right Elle." I said as we started walking towards the entrance of the mall.
"Listen when you love someone, it's hard to let them go." She said.
"Yeah..." I said, leaving it at that because i didn't agree with her and I didn't want to fight with her about it.
"Y'all are both right, on one hand I understand where Elle is coming from but I also agree with you storm..... I know you love him Giselle but that doesn't mean you have to deal with his shit." Yasmine said.
Giselle stayed silent and walked ahead of us. I know she upset that we don't agree with her but she's only going to get herself hurt in the end.
Yasmine ran up behind her and jumped on her back, "don't be sad Gigi baby! We're just looking out for you."
"Yeah yeah whatever." Giselle said.
We made our way into the mall and was insulted by the sounds of hundreds of people talking and laughing, kid screaming and the smell of different types of food being made.
I took a deep breath, trying to prepare myself for the excessive amount of walking, talking, playing dress up and dodging annoying ass guys. I'm not use to being out the house so this all feels new too me.
"Where are we going first?" Yasmine asked.
"I doesn't matter to me." I said dryly.
"How bout we start at PacSun since it's right here." Giselle said.
"Ouuu ok!" Yasmine said cheerful.
We walked into the store and Yaz and Elle immediately ran over to the area that had the dresses and tight clothing. They were so happy about shopping they didn't notice that I didn't follow them over there, but then again they know I tend to disappear when we go shopping.
I walked over to the men's section and start going through the graphic tees. My style is completely different from Yaz and Elle. They love the girly shit that shows their body or makes them stand out whereas I'll wear a t-shirt and some jeans or sweats any day, I just don't like showing too much skin.
I know it sounds weird, you would expect someone that is a stripper to feel comfortable in their body and have confidence, but not me. It's already enough that I have to take off my clothes in front of a bunch of men that I don't know. I would hate to have that feeling of a bunch of Beady eyes staring at me during the day too.
