"Welcome home, Mr. Serrano." The doorman said as he opened the door for us.

"Thanks Benjamin." Shawn said.

I stared around in awe at how beautiful this place was.

"You live here?" I asked.

"Yeah." He muttered.

We got into the elevator and he pressed the button for the top floor. I was still in shock but I didn't want to be over dramatic so I kept my mouth shut and just looked around.

We finally got to the top and the elevator doors opened letting us. He stepped out and walked straight toward a large door with a keypad on it.

He typed in a bunch of numbers and then turned the knob and walked inside.

Instantly the sound of barking and scratching sounded from inside. The moment I stepped inside I was bombarded by a small dog. Rocco was running between my feet and trying to jump up on my leg.

Once I set my phone and bag down I kneeled down and started petting him.

"Hi cutie." I said in a slightly high pitched voice.

Rocco continued to jump around, his little tail wagging viscously as he tried to lick my face.

Shawn came over. bent down and started petting Rocco as well.

"Sorry he's a little wild." He said.

"It's fine he's cute."

After a couple minutes of getting to know Rocco, I finally noticed Shawn's house.

"Woah." I whispered.

His place was beautiful, very nice and comfy, giving off a homey vibe.

"You like it?" He asked.

"Yes I love it! Your couch look so comfortable." I said, plotting down.

"You want something to drink?"

I shook my head no.

I watch as he walk into the kitchen and open the fridge. He pulled out a couple of plastic food containers then placed them on the counter before turning back and grabbing a bottle of water.

"Come here storm." He says.

Storm....what about princess

I stood up and slowly made my way toward the kitchen then stopped at the entrance.

"Come closer." He said, holding out his hand.

I took a couple step closer and placed my hand in his. He gently pulled me closer until I was standing right next to him.

"This is what I feed Rocco." He said.

I looked on the counter and noticed that one of the containers he took out had rice in it and the other had grilled chicken that was mixed with carrots, green beans, and sweet potatoes.
