Squeeze.

Lather

Smother.

Wash.

This was a routine I was well versed with and I carried out the process on automatic.

The fragrance of the shampoo hit my nostrils. I preferred the male variant of shampoo to the female one, considering how male products are meant to be more appealing to the women's senses that those of the wearer.

Marketing?

Yeah, it's confusing.

I kneaded the product into my scalp resisting the urge to moan at the pleasant feeling.

Easy, the guy I was separated from by only a thin wall, wouldn't appreciate it if I did.

The glass was now fogged from the vast amount hot water pouring out of the shower head. I could see a faint reflection of my, well what do you expect, naked body.

I'm not a conceited person but today I couldn't help but look at my appearance longer than deemed socially acceptable.

Well, I personally don't consider showers to be the most special part of a day but I must say, today's shower was quite memorable.

"Ahhhhhhhh!"

•••

I walked down the stairs of our cabin and dragged myself into the kitchen. The storm cloud over my head was heavy and I could already feel droplets of water dampening my collar.

Or that was just water from my wet hair, which was hidden under the piece of material on my head.

I don't like hats.

I don't like the way they irritate my forehead and I don't like the traction alopecia you'll most likely get from wearing one.

Today, I had a beanie on.

Of all of the MTs Noah could have entrusted me with, it had to be Conner Easy effing McGuire!

"Oi, mate! Can you get me some milk?" Brady asked from his seat at the counter, not bothering to look up from his phone.

"Yes." I replied without making an attempt to get it.

Brady groaned and gave me a condescending glare. "Do you really need me to go all Oxford dictionary on you, to prove that may and can can and may be used interchangeably?"

I puffed out a large breath of air and dragged myself to the fridge.

I shoved the carton into his hands.

"Bruh, what's got your panties in a twist?" He poured the milk into a bowl before putting the cereal in.

My eye twitched.

Dude!

"C'mon you can tell me. I'm like all you've got here." He nudged me with his elbow, dangerously close to my boob.
