Chapter 22: Done Playing Around

Punk watched as Randy and Bella walked down the hall together. They were getting really close and he didn't like it.

Throughout pretty much their entire friendship, Punk hadn't thought about Bella romantically, but after that kiss, she was all he could think about. He hated how it felt. He couldn't quite figure out what he wanted with her, but he knew that he did have strong feelings that he couldn't act on, and that pissed him off.

"Punk!" he heard Bella yell, snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Hey Bells," he smiled, purposely ignoring Randy.

"What are you about to do?" she asked.

"I don't know, probably hang with Kofi."

"Okay. Can I meet up with you guys in a bit?"

"For sure. We'll be in my locker room."

"Alright superstar, I'll see you soon," she winked at him and pat him on the chest before she and Randy kept on walking.

"Kofi man, I don't know what to do," Punk said, running his hands through his hair.

"About what?"

"Bella."

"What about her?" Kofi asked, oblivious to everything that had happened in the last week or so.

"Bella and I kissed."

Kofi's eyes widened when his friend told him this. He knew how close they were, and he always had his suspicions that there was something more going on between them. But it was still shocking to hear Punk say it out loud, "Come again?"

"We kissed Kof. After the shit with Jericho, she was with me on the bus. Then she kisses me and practically runs all the way back to Chicago."

"Chicago?" Kofi reacted out loud.

"Yea. She literally took the first flight out to Chicago that night."

"What happened next?"

"I flew out the next morning."

"Woah," Kofi's eyes widened.

"It was by far the best kiss I've ever had and it hardly lasted thirty seconds."

"Jesus man," Kofi shook his head at his friend, "Well what happened next?"

"I went straight to Colt's house, and her best friend brought her there. They wanted us to talk."

"Did you?"

"Barely. She ran away again, even after I told her I broke up with Amy."

"Wait what?" Kofi reacted.

"She ran away again."

"I don't care about that man," Kofi shook his head in disbelief, "But did you really break up with Amy?"

"I mean we weren't really together."

"But it's still been three years."

"And?" Punk asked, still not getting what Kofi was implying.

"You broke up with Amy who you've been with for three years like it was nothing, after kissing Bella once. Do you get what I'm trying to say?"

"Not really, no."

"You've dated loads of girls during your on and off relationship with Amy while you two were broken up, but you always ended up going back to Amy."

"So?"

"You have never broken up with Amy for another girl before."

"But it's Bella."
